Introduction.
!Warning. this guide contains spoilers!

as you may or may not know after defeating the boss , Alduin, Lord of Cinders, you go to legendary mode. essentially resetting the game however the enemies are stronger.
this also resets most npc's and items, so it is a good idea to do this stuff before you kill the boss.

this guide is split into 3 parts.

a list of npc's (including optional mini-bosses) I recommend killing before you go to Legendary mode.

a list of items that i recomend you get before you go to legendary mode.

and items and npc's in the dlc.
NPC's
I Recomend killing the following npc's before you go to legendary mode.

--non boss npc's

-Aldis

not very important. He has a nice weapon though. Also you can summon him in the final bossfight.
-Kill him for his weapon. It is great in strenght builds. However if you don't need his weapon keep him alive so you can summon him in the final bossfight.

-Legate Rikke

Although one of the good guys, she is not very friendly.
-her armor is fairly good.

-Galmar Stonefist

A Worshipper of Ulfric stormcloak.
-He drops his armor which is has a fairly good poise to weight ratio however is quickly outclassed by upgraded armor. it is a good idea to kill him before you figh Ulfric, bucause Ulfric can summon Galmar to his aid.

-Solaire of Astora

He worships the sun (weirdo!) and uses spells that heal himself and damage enemies.
-You want his armor. it has a very good stat to weight ratio, especially when upgraded to legendary.

-Hadvar

Not much is known about him, some people say that he is actualy you in Legendary Mode. This feeling is enhanced by the fact that he doesn't apear in Legendary Mode wether you kill him or not.
Being the only tutorial in the game, this guy helped you from the start.
-He drops a soul that yields a lot of souls, some people say you can also make a weapon with it. I think that that's just an urban myth. Also his armor is fairly good.

-Agent Lorcalin

He invades you after killing ulfric, possible reference to ulfric being a puppet of the thalmor.
-Kill his hollow version near the thalmor outpost after fending off his invasion to get lightning bolt.

-Emperor Titus Mede II

The Emperor of an ancient Empire from a long forgotten time. because the time is distorted in Tamriell, he can be found in several locations in skyrim. also a notorius member of the darkwraith.
-Kill him after he has invaded you 2 times to get his loot. otherwise he won't drop anything. Exhaust his dialogue first, you can find him near High Hrothgar.

--Mini Bosses
-Ulfric Stormcloak

This is a weak miniboss !warning, his girlish screams (also known as shouts) might damage your ears! If he screams too much and you haven't killed galmar yet, his boyfriend might enter the boss area and attack you.
-The weapon made with his boss soul does more damage with backstabs.

-The Red Drake

you don't really need to kill him. just cut of his tail and you'll get a weapon.
-The weapon sucks but you need it for the achievement.

-Ondolemar

high justiciar of the thalmor.
-His boss soul weapon deals more damage to enemies that are already damaged. He also constantly invades skyrim untill you kill him.

-Kalameet

He is very strong, you need gough to shoot him out of the air first.
-his tail drops a nice weapon. his ring is nice for glass cannon builds.

-General Tulius

Although he is the hero of this game you still need to kill him because he is also the main general of Alduin. He was left in charge of skyrim while alduin left to rekindle the flame.
-his armor is nice, his weapon is very strong when max upgraded and has a nice skillset.
Items
A list of items i recomend you to get before defeating the boss and going to legendary mode.

-Helmet of the old gods

Adds 1 spell use, great with builds using Sunlight Blade or other spells that only have 1 use.

-Grass Crest Boots

These boots increase your stamina regeneration. unfortunately they offer no poise and are quite heavy.

-Blade of Sacrifise

Returns 1 spell use if you kill someone with a riposte using this weapon. It is very good when using spells that only have 1 use.

-Broken Straightsword.

Just joking, you don't need this one :P
DLC
DLC!

--MiniBosses
-General Falx Carius

"General Falx Carius was one of the four generals of Alduin. Falx was known to be a legendary warior known for wielding a huge hammer. He Hunted the Ashspawn and was able to enter the volcanoes with the power of his ring, preventing him from being scorched but cursing his hammer in the progress.

when morrowind became threatened by Dagoth Ur, Falx and his wolf companion, Sif, arived in an attempt to save morrowind. however the two where overwhelmed and Falx sacrificed himself to protect Sif. Swallowed by the fire, he became corrupted along with his already-cursed Hammer. He was then laid to rest by the Dragonborn after encountering them in Fort Frostmoth" -from his armor
-His weapon has a very unique skillset and scales with humanity.

-ahzidal

A Worshipper of Chaos.
-his mask boosts the power of pyromancies.

-dukaan

He uses Crystal magic
-His mask boosts the power of all crystal spells.

-Zahkriisos

Also known as Zac by his friends.
-His masks boosts the damage of lightning spears

--items
Bloodskall Blade

A sword that fires blasts when you use a 2 handedpower attack. It is great for int specs because it has an A scaling in int when max upgraded. you can find it in Bloodskall Barrow.

-Bow of the Stag prince.

Increases your defensive stats for every 20 enemies killed while wielding this. I recommend equipping it in your off hand and wielding something 2 handed.
Fin.
Well you now did everything you need to do before you kill the boss and go to legendary mode.

Good luck defeating Alduin, lord of Cinders. And when you fail just remember.

"git gud, Casul." -someone who sucks at dark souls.

Legendary is a difficulty level available in the menu.
Skyrim has 6 difficulty levels

Novice:2x dmg dealt,1/2 dmg received
Apprentice(:1.5x dmg dealt, 3/4 dmg received
Adept:you do the damage weapons and spells say they do, and so do your enemies. Keep in mind enemies have various weapon skill levels, and 100 skill means they do similar damage to you when you have 100 skill and 5/5 of the base perk. Mages may have perks that buff destruction spells, just like the ones you can get.
Expert:3/4 dmg dealt, 1.5x damage received
Master:1/2 dmg dealt, 2x dmg received
Legendary:1/4 dmg tdealt, 3x dmg received

@✩⃛<◢REtarĐCO⊙kie◣>✩ i heard that if you eat at least 3 daedra hearts a day and take an estus every hour the darkwraiths will only wear leather armor.
