I think they improved the visual design of their bosses, at least.
It's true that thre are at least like 4 bosses that you can do just by going under their feet and dodging their stomp attacks.
It's why no one really talks about them like they would Demon's/Dark bosses.
You mean how they made some bosses optional... Or something? I don't think I know what you mean, the bosses are pretty rad in this game just like in the other souls games.
I was honestly kind of reluctant to play it because I assumed it wasn't as good as Dark Souls 1 (what most people seem to still believe), in the beginning I was wierded out by the new animations and small differences in many different areas, but once I got used to it I'm hooked, it feels like Dark Souls all over again back in 2011.
I think it's worth saying though, they made this game even more obscure and fucking impossible than the previous games, it's almost impossible to beat this game without checking a wiki, because you rarely know where to go once your reach a dead end (a boss without an area after it). I was forunate enough to have a friend who basically guided me through the whole thing though.
