Transparent in-game background

Описание
Ever get killed in-game when checking the scoreboard? Ever wanted a more transparent background because of it? ..I sure as hell have.

Well now the day is here!

I bring you this mod with hopes you enjoy your new window to information and be able to keep a keen eye on your background.

Disclaimer: Your background won't be crystal clear because the game applies a blur effect when the scoreboard is brought up, but it's a hell of a lot better than the default. However the end game panel allows complete transparency... not that you'd need it at that point lol.

*This mod does not change main menu background*

Found it :D, It's been driving me crazy for years.

This mod also adds a tiny "Lockheart Icon" To the Top right corner of your menu's I've been wondering for years which mod it was. It's this 1.

For those who used some FPS boost mod, follow these steps to fix black backgrounds.

Go to the folder where you placed the FPS boost, "autoexec.cfg", which is at Steam > Steamapps > Common > Insurgency2 > Insurgency > cfg.

Open "autoexec.cfg" with Notepad/Notepad++/Textedit

And find these 3:
mat_blur_b 0
mat_blur_g 0
mat_blur_r 0

And change all the "0" values to "0.5" (without " )

It should look like this:
mat_blur_b 0.5
mat_blur_g 0.5
mat_blur_r 0.5

Save the cfg file into the directory and you are done. Also ensure that you did everything stated in the FPS boost video before doing this. Especially setting launch options.

it somehow worked for me after i set the settings to mode/texture settings to high of course it's black, but then setting the shader to low, and then setting again the model/texture to low you can even set again the shader to high. :) it will work, and it's good it really helps the gameplay, but somehow it's still broken this one needs to be fixed.

Hello? Can you help me? I have a bug when i subscribed the mod. The mod isn't transparent for me it's just black background, so i unsubscribed it and the black background is still there..

Yeah it works in the custom folder, but doesn't even seem to update via the workshop submission route. I'm not sure what the hell is going on, but I know the mod itself is working on my end

So I found the vpk itself, (it was in the original path, not the new and updated location, doh!) and verfied that the files are indeed correct. However, it was strange that when I had the mod subscribed, the mod wouldn't work. As soon as I moved the vpk over to my local insurgency\custom folder (not workshop), the mod started to work again. So I unsubscribed from the actual workshop mod for now. I'll try resubbing to see if it works...
