Just a simple list of all the workplaces currently in the game and which critters like working there.

If you reach the maximum number of residents (currently 18) and still haven't got someone suitable for a particular location, you'll have to ask a resident to leave before you can pick up a new castaway. You can't evict anyone with an open quest, including building them a home. If you evict them after you've restored their house, the house will revert to its derelict state and you'll have to supply all the materials again when a new critter moves in.

The gardener job isn't a workplace, but a resident who will wander around and water all planters every day, so they're very useful to have as soon as you start growing crops. They might take their sweet time to water everything, and can do it in a very weird order sometimes though!
