Light Lance Mechpriest 1.53.0
By Honey Badger
Although this is a thorns build, this is NOT! a retaliation build. It easily clears Mythic XV, and as long as you keep your barrier up you can basically stand in everything. Not everything is completely upgraded and I haven't pushed it to its limits yet, but up until now it works pretty well for me and it is really easy to play.

Introduction
There aren't alot of builds for Chronicon around, so I thought I share mine.

This Light Lance build is an easy to play build with high survaviblity, relying on the Light Lance being empowered by your thorns damage via the Destructive Protocols set. So we try to maximize our thorns and HP. Although this build is able to retaliate with high numbers, we want to interrupt enemy attacks and use the thorns mainly for our Light Lance.
Stats
Where it is possible, we increase our max ammo
Crit chance should be at 100%
Whenever possible we want to increse health, thorns and holy damage
Then damage and crit damage and damage vs crowned foes
Light radius is also a good pick, because we get 10% from this stat as damage for our Light Lance via masteries
For the rest we want damage reduction, resistances, reach, some better chance to find ammo and increased effect from gems

Mana isn't needed for this build, so no mana regeneration either
Skilltree

We use the Magic Bullet, because the Light Lance does damage based on the triggering skills damage, and Rake Shot for a weakening effect. M3d1c gives us some self heal and Defensive Protocols gives us a barrier that can stack with Barrier Up!. And if that's not enough, we have a Panic Button.

Important out of this tree is Combat Training, Combat Veteran, Adrenaline Stims, Ammo Pouch and Targeting Module. Puncture is triggered from our Light Lance and gives a nice bleeding debuff.

Here we only really need the Armor Insulation for some resistances to all elements.

And for some more parry, we need Defensive Stance. Calculated Spread gives us some more reach.

This leaves us with these active skills.
Masteries

Light Beam, Brightness, Refocused Optics and Parallel Processing from the Mechpriest mastery aswell as Feedback Loop Synergy from the Bio-Tech mastery are important for our Light Lance. While Overclocked Barriers and Restorative Tech strengthens our defense by buffing our barriers.
Most points of the other skilltree masteries aren't important, but there is some more health, ammo regen, damage and damage reduction aswell as a buff for our M3d1c.
Destructive Protocol
The Destructive Protocol set adds your thorns damage to your Light Lance, makes it possible for Light Lance to be doublecast and lets your barrier from Defensive Protocols stack.

We use Life Guard for some damage reduction.

Although the Golden Guard looks like a nice option, it is only retaliation and rids us of some survivability.

The Clockwork Armor gives us some more parry, hence a better chance to trigger our Defensive Protocols, and some more damage reduction.

Just more Light Lance and more Light Lance power.

Tenderizer gives us some more thorns damage which in return strengthens our Light Lance. Simplicity triples the damage from Magic Bullet, and therefore the base damage of our Light Lance.
Accessories
For this build we want to use three pieces of the Furious Retaliaton set. Who needs the taunt anyway?

Lots more thorns damage.
Focal Lens gives us a stacking damage buff for our Light Lance and lets it pierce our foes and Terras Binding is an important defense rune.
With Critical Thorns we get a buff for our thorns, relying on crits. At 15 stacks we have 450% more thorns damage, so alot more thorns for our Light Lance. And with 100% critical chance we can reach these 15 stacks pretty fast.

The Elementium Stone gives us 20% more holy damage and Assertion boosts the chance to trigger doublecast passives, and for we added our Light Lance to that list, it should mean more Light Lance doublecast.
Ancient Beast
In my opinion the triangle artifacts are more of a preference thing, for the other slots is my recommendation

Relics
If you want, you can buff yourself further with some elixiers or debuff your foes with some vials. These are some nice options you can use.

How to play
Although it should be kinda self explanatory.
Use Magic Bullet to spread your Light Lance through your enemies. Keep your Barrier Up! and stay in your Defensive Stance. Don't forget you have a Panic Button, so don't panic, unless you have to press the button. Usually the passive heal from your M3d1c should be enough to heal you back up if there went some damage through your barriers.
Outro
This concludes my Mechapriest build. I really hope some people get some ideas from this guide and if there are some suggestions to improve this build, I would love to hear them.

This is my first guide, so I hope it is easy enough to understand.

At the same mastery with my current mech build I'm T35 and clearing floors in a matter of seconds, and I get hit by all the things also.; I don't even have all the enchants and beast nodes unlocked, I don't even use the elixirs yet. I'm pumping out over 14Trillion dmg without even using flame whirlwind, things just goes brrrrrr.

Use that lancer build (and change the stat rolls for Magic Find) to farm the poison gas set and have yourself a time.
