The point of aim was at top left of paper, wind blows bullets to the right, more at increasing distances. 4 distances, 4 shots.

Above two pictures show Gold and Black Karabiner tie for best. Shots were freehanded, not benchrested.

Mosin-Nagant is second best.

Springfield is 3rd best.

Carcano and Lee Enfield tie for 4th place, off the paper at the longest distance.
Carbine is worst, only hitting the paper at the two closest targets at the rifle range.
