The Amazingly Overpowered Wrangler

At first, newbies get killed often by Sentry Guns, and they think, ‘OMG, the sentry is so awesome!’ However, after a period of time playing Engineer, players might find that it is actually very vulnerable to spies and many other classes, and after that their hopes and dreams of an ultimate sentry nest is CRUSHED, but guess what? The Sentry Gun is actually really powerful, only that not much people know its true power, and I am going to help you.

Wrangler is overpowered, but without it the Engineer is total B***S***. What many players think about it is: What’s the big deal, it could control the sentry manually, and so what? The sentry has Auto-Aim! Well, yep! The sentry gun does have auto-aim, but the wrangler has many hidden functions and upgrades for the sentry.

First of all, the Wrangler provides the Sentry Gun with unlimited range, making it much more useful when it has a blind spot or stopping long range spamming. Many players tend to put Sentries at obvious places where a Soldier could just take the sentry gun with 3 rockets, or a Demoman taking it down with pipes and stickies, but the Engineer would be helpless at this point of the game because all he could do is to watch his sentry getting destroyed in a few seconds. Well, at least the engineer would not have to watch for a long time for his craft getting wrecked. :D Therefore the Wrangler exists, it could even stop a line of snipers by spamming bullets and rockets randomly so that he could not snipe without a care in the world.

Second of all, the Wrangler activates a shield for the Sentry, absorbing an unbelievable 66% damage! That makes it able to take a whopping 648 damage before it gets destroyed! Demomen would need around 3-4 stickies than normal, and soldiers would need 3 more rockets to get the job done! This is the most amazing feature of the wrangler.
Thirdly, the Wrangler allows the Sentry to shoot 2X faster, including the firing speed of sentry rocket. That combined with the damage absorption shield could make it extremely effective in both long range and close range.

Finally, the Wrangler grants the ability of Sentry-Jumping, allowing the Texas Builder to make a Sentry Nest in unexpected yet effective places. The Sentry Jump could be performed either with bullets or rockets, making it the only class able to bullet-jump and the third class to be able to perform effective blast jumps.
