How to Pile Bunker the World
By Attlich
Have you ever walked near a stinking homeless guy who screams about the downfall of humanity and how young people today are heartless because they aren't giving him money to fuel his crippling Belvedere Pure Vodka addiction and think: "Man, I wish I could stick a quasi-explosive sharpened metal rod up his arse?"

Me too, but unfortunately that is a crime and can result in going to prison. So don't do that.

Instead, I'll give you a very short guide on how to essentially one-shot most mini-bosses & light to medium ACs and either two or three-shot almost every boss that isn't the size of a skyscraper.

Weapon Disclaimer
First things first - this guide is meant for people who are either just getting into the game (a small number, I know) AND for those who played the game multiple times but have not touched the PB-033M ASHMEAD Pile Bunker.

The weapon itself is essentially a hydraulic fist that shoves out a metal spear on impact. Charge it to increase the damage and add a neat explosion on top of it.

Now for the pros & cons.

Pros:

- Instantly breaks MT shields
- Charge attack is one of the highest damaging attacks in the game, ESPECIALLY when the enemy is staggered. Has enough power to shave off 50% HP off of fast moving bosses or even outright kill them.

Cons:

- Long cooldown, meaning if you've used it to break someone's ACS then ya can't follow up with anything else (unless you got some weapons on you)
- NON-EXISTENT CHARGE ATTTACK RANGE - you absolutely need to be next to the staggered enemy to land this, otherwise you'll whiff
- Normal attack has very short range & absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥ tracking - again, you need to be in kissing distance of the enemy, otherwise you can miss at ranges that would usually be impossible to miss
- Brother is heavy, ngl - 4,180 weight ain't a joke.

High damage is high damage, sure, but you'll need some degree of skill and timing to maximize the potential of this thing and your AC build needs to cater to this weapon more so than anything. That means you either:

> Must have a lot of stability to keep yourself in mid-to-close range to make sure the attack connects
OR
> Must have enough speed and fast enough Quick Boosts if you're fighting mid range so you can close the distance in time to use the charged attack

With that out of the way...
When 2 Get?
After you finish Chapter 1, the PB-033M ASHMEAD Pile Bunker will be available in the Parts Shop for 185,000 COAM.

Buy that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ & start piling and bunking...but not yet! Cuz we have some stuff we need to buy FIRST!
OS Tuning Priority
Doing Arena's is very neat cuz you get chips for OS upgrades but for the Bunker-Who-Piles you need some very specific ones to maximize the damage output.

There are two mandatory & one optional OS upgrade you'll need. And these are:

Melee weapons - Drive Control Tuning
Cost:
> Level 1 (+5% Dmg) - 3 Chips
> Level 2 (+10% Dmg) - 5 Chips
> Level 3 (+15% Dmg) - 7 Chips

Self-explanatory - increases melee damage. Makes that penetration go further and unleash all your deep♂dark♂fantasies♂

Direct Hit Modifier - Damage Tuning
Cost:
> Level 1 (+5% Dmg) - 4 Chips
> Level 2 (+10% Dmg) - 6 Chips
> Level 3 (+15% Dmg) - 8 Chips

Increases damage during stagger, which is the time you will be using the Bunking Pile anyway to make the guy really feel it, kinda like how they do it in prison - hit the guy enough times, and once he's staggered go for the explosive fisting and charge it $300 bucks.

OPTIONAL:

Weapon Bay
Cost:
> 2 Chips

This is personal preference for those who like Double Trigger combinations and don't mind switching between weapons. Some people don't like it and have their own ways to inflict high ACS quickly - me, I'm an Etsujin+Attache Duckett+Chang Chen guy with a missile launcher on the right and a Bile Punker on the left. To each his own.

Personal recommendation is to go for the Direct Hit upgrades first and Melee second, though you can also mix and match while more Arena encounters become available as you progress through the story.
Here's a cool song to listen to while Pile Bunking, that's it
And remember - the Pile Bunker is always with you.
