@TRC_Mario are you running a big modpack, if so move this to the bottom and try again. Also try running the mod by itself and try using search & trade artifacts to see where they spawn.
The mod development is going on hiatus due to university until around late December, with hopefully an update around new years.

The offending line is in:
common/game_rules/aom_game_rule_events.txt
The line:
type = aom_artifacts
CK3 1.12+ no longer recognizes this rule type, so the mod loads with a broken game rule definition. This also causes invisible relics/artifacts in-game because the artifact system doesn't initialize properly when the rule fails.
