This interactive e-book is based on Adobe Flash [en.wikipedia.org] and uses Adobe Air [en.wikipedia.org] to run. Adobe Air is a runtime that allows you to run desktop apps that use Adobe technologies such as Flash, Actionscript etc.

Adobe AIR is no longer officially supported by Adobe since the beginning of 2021, the same time when Flash support was discontinued as well. It is now maintained and distributed by HARMAN (a Samsung subsidiary company) who continue to release updates. The version that comes with this e-book is very outdated and may either have security flaws, not work well on Windows 11 or with other Adobe AIR apps, e.g. Scratch 2.0 editor. I have tested the latest version of AIR and it runs perfectly well with this app.

Check if you have any version of Adobe AIR already installed and uninstall it before installing this version.
Install the normal version, not the WebKit version linked below. WebKit is Apple's web browser engine that's used in Safari.
Install this before installing this app so it won't install the outdated version of AIR that comes bundled with it.
