Gear and Pilots

There are lots of things that can be said about Gear and Pilots individually but I want to make this guide about how to use Pilots to maximize your Gear.

You have two Gear slots
Supply Gear slot is shown on the left side of the screen in your hanger when you select a Robot.

Cycle Gear slot is shown on the right.

Supply Gear can be used very early on in games. However, it's much harder to get your Cycle Gear to activate.

Some Pilots - Commons mostly come to mind - have 2 or even 3 skills associated with Gear.

Be sure to notice what Type of Gear you want to use and correspond a Pilot with that Gear type.

Leonardo Ricci, a Common Pilot, has two skills that boost Gear. One provides Gear Cooldown Reduction while the other provides bonuses on Defensive Gear to Shields. So I have Energy Wall, which is a Defensive Gear that also provides a boost to shields. So I have synergized my Pilot and Gear together.

My Main Robot Combo is a full Typhon set with three bonuses to my primary Weapons, which are x4Vortex. Furthermore, I use Sprint Reator in conjuction with my Hero Pilot's skill that states - any gear activation speeds me up by an additional 20%. AND Idy Demerost - the Hero Pilot I'm using - has a second skill associated with bonuses to movement through getting assists. So my entire robot is hyper synergized.

Closing on that point - I use Flashbang for my Cycle Gear which I think is really cool to use with Typhon's Core Ability that forces up to 3 enemy Robots to reload. So I have 2 ways to disable my enemies.

I use my own Robot as an example because everything about my build synergizes.

So the key of learning from this Guide is this - never let a single skill on your Pilot go to waste. ALWAYS assign the Perfect Pilot for Every Robot.
