Help to get the "Only [Type] Cosmions" Achievements
By 🐡 ๖ۣۜAngry ๖ۣۜDiodon
In this guide I'll give some tips to get the achievements that require you to play only one type of element.

I made this guide mainly to have more people get the Air and Electric ones, because under 1% of people have them (and they are ruining my rarest achievements wall).

Also, as an incentive to get those two specific achievements, you can notice me when you unlock them and I'll send you a bunch of awards ! (also if you'd like me to write for another specific element just leave a comment)

Thanks for the read and have fun playing !

- You only have to meet the requirements for the achievements in the very last round.
This means you can use anything during the run but need to end up with an only [Chosen Type] crew.

- Only one type also means you can't finish with Neutral cosmions or Hybrid cosmions, all your crew needs to be of the very type you try to get.
So, don't forget to sell all neutrals before last round, and don't use hybrids or other elements at all.

- You can still have essences of any types, but of course, take all the essences you can from your chosen element.

- Obviously getting those achievements is way easier in lower elos, but with a bit of luck and getting familiar with the game, monotype builds still are powerfull, as you should end up with great synergies. The main challenge is to be able to follow your luck, the decision is yours to force the build over a serie of games or to wait for the stars to align. (Electric achievement will likely need you to force it though)

While getting only one type of pokecosmion reduce drastically your options, don't start thinking anything of your type is worth it. This guide will try to help you get a good grasp of what build to target depending on your RNG, with tips on what works great and what doesn't.
If you're not too high in the rankings, it shouldn't take you more than a couple of games to get them.

(Note for neutral cosmions : Having too much of those will make it difficult to replace them in last rounds, mostly if they aren't all about money. My take would be to stick to one or two stonk stripes, and maybe one Poppop or Chugchug if you are going for Electric)
Electric
Try to focus on a stun build (Zapp+Tokmak+Nikola 7). Take as much as you can of them. (Tokmak use Energy so maybe no more than 3 depending your regen and other Energy consumers). Avoid Wasbuzz completely, but still aim to get one Voltrex.

Get Pethor first if you struggle early game because of high elo, he's a powerhouse until ~ round 6. Electric Khephira is also good, even better in the long-term, but needs some precious essences. When you can, replace them with Tokmak's. One Shoal is also good. (Pethor is an easy goodbye, you might need to keep a Khephira until very late or even the end on the other hand, depending what you get and your energy).

You don't need more than a couple of Zcythe, or even none at all. He's just better than nothing (but gets better with speed upgrades). Hyper and mainly Matrot, on the other hand, are very good --> especially with Voltrex. Getting up to 4 of them is nice.

Sparky and Serena obviously is good. The problem is it ruins your plans until you upgrade it, so be careful (You can win without it, but it's upgrade is too good to make me say avoid it).

The bag that gives crit and the one that gives 1 Energy are very op.

Lastly, for upgrades :

MONEY : (I'm not a fan of money upgrades, but Cheaper Power turn 1 probably will net a lot of cash, and if you feel lucky Early Visitor or Compensation Prize)
SPEED : Cheap Tactics -> F.A.S.T -> Elemental Synergy -> Fatal Tempo
ENERGY : Jitterz -> Energized 2 & 3 -> More Energy -> Energized 1
DEFENSE : Stop the Bleeding -> Earthen Armor -> Regen of the Colossus
DAMAGE : Rumble of the Sky (Only 2) -> Bloodlust -> Gotta Hit Fast
RANDOM BUFFS : Link Master -> OCD (Only from round 2, and if you can fulfill it's conditional)
Air
I see four potential focus for an all Air crew :
  • Fog (Konchi + Air Klood, Fanfox as a defense)
  • Crit (Volucris + Clepius, Parryplus as a defense)
  • Clarity (Galewing + Ageccus) > goes well with the crit build and you won't need more than one Clepius (to upgrade Volucris).
  • Haste (Capcop + Air Khephira, Critical Zone to let him hit some crits)
I didn't tested too much the last one although it seems more hard to get to work in late game (but it shines in early-mid game), you'll need strong defenses and potentially some non-air cosmions for this one imo. Hence, I would recommend you to not take any Capcop, Mira, Khephre or Slimi at all, unless maybe you're in very high elos, and you can't get past early-game easily.

I'd say a Clarity/Crit build is easier to get, you need to get Volucris mainly (so 4 Dribs and a Clepius), and you can replace Galewing with Konchi or maybe an Air Khephira if you don't find any Ethiru. But if you get double luck to get some Kloods and like 3 Fanfox over the game, the Fog build become very, very strong and the obvious choice. Luck aside, probably a better build for higher elos aswell.

[Plinn]
There would be also a potential Plinn-heavy build depending on the upgrades you get. (there is an upgrade specifically for this cosmion, which you should never pick, unless going for this build AND finding Muscles up 3/Tiny Army/Cheap Tactics). It involves luck on upgrades (Siphon, Love is in the Air, Overheal, A Good Offense for a defensive version). Consider it for fun only, although I had somewhat great results when you get plenty of those butterflies and the right upgrades.

Still, as this cosmion don't use energy and is common, having some is very good everywhere, especially early, just don't rely on them and don't get too much of them. Also, remember your energy consumption indicator won't take into account that your Plinns aren't consuming any Energy. So better to watch the in-game result.

[Legendaries]
Ageccus and Valkyrie can be very OP, but you'll get them mainly in late rounds, so don't count on it too much. I'd get one of each in any build, more Ageccus only if you rely on Galewing, more of both only for Plinn builds.

[Upgrades]
Many things may work, and there are also upgrades that are goodish in almost every build (Like Jitterz or Earthen Armor turn 1 from the top of my head). I'll just list some amazing ones :
Fog focus : Peak Condition (best one for this build), Elemental Synergy, Love is in the Air
Crit/Clarity focus : Focused Mind (best one for this build), Screams of the Night, Like the Wind, Critical Point

Also, remember to look at the Codex to know which rounds they are available, since some are better to get early and some better in the late game.
