To start any business, you need start-up capital, and the more - the better. But just driving cargo alone is pointless. As soon as you are approved for the opportunity to take a loan for 400,000 €, take it. I also did not want to take a loan at the beginning, because my mother said that it was bad, but in the game its mechanics work differently. The rate is annual, and we pay in days. Total: 5788 € * 70 days = 405160 € . For using such a large loan, you will pay only 5160 €!
Therefore, as soon as you can - take a loan for 500,000 €, (interest only 6340 €) this will be 8 676 € per day. And it is advisable to save up at least 100,000 € yourself. Now that you have the money, the most important thing is to distribute it correctly!

Divide your finances like this:

• +/- 150k € to buy a personal truck
  
• 180k € to buy a garage
  
• 270k+ € for trucks for employees

Now specifically for each item:
1. Personal transport.
   A truck from a showroom is a must! Choose any, they all differ only in appearance, if anything, buy another one later. You shouldn't buy fat trim levels right away, at the start every thousand is important (as the business grows, you will improve the truck and style it, a lot opens up with the level). I do not recommend only Iveco Stralis and M-B old Actros. These trucks are not for you.
   
2. Many people take the 2nd step simply, but it is no less important! We buy a garage according to the criteria below for 3 spaces (then we will improve it to 5). Let me tell you right away, it is not profitable to improve the garage that was given to you. It is better to do it later.
   Let me remind you that to buy the first 2 garages you need to come to the city where they are located.
   
   Important criteria when choosing a city for a garage:
   
   • Infrastructure:
     The more companies in the city, the wider the choice of your workers, which means they will be less lazy (if the worker cannot find a suitable load according to his skills, then he either sits in the garage or goes to the garage without a load, which also incurs losses). Such a city is Frankfurt, I myself made my capital there at the beginning. So it will be useful to count the houses on the map.
     
   • Location:
     + If there are many cities nearby, then mercenaries will always have somewhere to go and the number of orders is also higher. For example: Cologne-Dusseldorf-Dortmund-Duisburg. Birmingham-Sheffield-Liverpool-Manchester. And others.
     - If the city is on the edge of the map. Especially on the coast. So literally half of the possible routes disappear. And also port cities (Calais, Dover, Flixstone, Amsterdam) For the ferry to another country, your monkeys will pay more than they receive for the order. You are in the minus. It is better not to buy garages in these cities at the start.
3. Trucks for NPC monkeys.
   I will say right away, skuf scientists have proven that the income of drivers does not depend on the coolness of the car. So here you need to save as much as possible.
   Go to the used trucks section and choose trucks priced up to 100k. The main criteria: Condition 3 stars and above. Permanent wear up to 35% (although here depending on the situation, it can be up to 45%). I recommend making saves before all purchases , if the truck is in an emergency, to return to the current point. Campaign-trucks in the "status" section there is a red square - you lost this lottery. If you managed to snatch working trucks Iveco Stralis, Renault Premium, M-B old Actros. Now you can buy them from the dealer at any time at a fixed rate. Company-buying a truck-brand-configuration of my fleet (plate in the upper left corner). So at the very minimum for Stralis you will pay 90k €.
   So, if there are no good offers on the market, just buy new Stralis.
   
   If after all the actions you have money left, buy 2 spaces in the garage for 100k and stock up on trucks.

The selection of personnel and their skills are the basis of your business. There are many schemes and methods here. Don't be afraid to experiment and try in search of your success formula. I will tell you how I select personnel.
1. The more recruiting agencies you have, the more choice of employees. Pay attention only to the skills of drivers, the rest does not matter. I select them by the golden trio (expensive, fragile, long-distance orders). If there are these 3 or at least 2 of them, there is a reason to hire such an employee. Perhaps at the very beginning you will not have to choose, but in the future it will come in handy.
2. Distribute the skills of the mercenary. Company-Personnel-Preferences-(the default plate is "versatile").

• Long distances. The higher, the further your employee will go. One of the golden trio.
  
• Expensive cargo. The first square opens the possibility of transporting such cargo. The most important skill that will bring you the most money. One of the golden trio.
  
• Fragile cargo. The first square opens the possibility of transporting such cargo. Mainly glass and some equipment, less popular than expensive ones and usually go together. One of the golden trio.
  
• Urgent orders. The first square opens the possibility of transporting such cargo. Therefore, there must be at least 1. After the golden trio.
  
  
• ADR - pump it up when there are already more than 10-12 squares of experience.
  
• Eco-driving is pumped up at the very last moment.

Again, everything is situational here, and this is my method.

The most important thing, no matter how strange it may sound, but to earn a lot of money you need to sleep a lot!
