Plot progression is achieved artificially with Inco narrating about every little thing in the most excruciating way possible. There's nothing dynamic to the plot. Just because a writer can make 100k or so words of story don't mean they have a workable plot with organic progression.
It boggles the mind how anyone can be inspired by Snoot Game and IWHTG without realizing that Cavemanon utilize a lot of brevity (for the most part) to keep a narrative that flows with fairly even pacing. They say twice as much with half as many words because they don't belabor the point.
I couldn't make an analysis of Wanigamu because there's nothing TOO analyze.
I'll post them again whenever I get around to fixing the issue. Still busy with work and mod creation.
One of the clearest examples of this is when Inco and Olivia go with Liz to eat at what I assume is a proxy for the Seattle Space Needle. When you choose the options that earn Inco the point, it seems like Olivia and Liz take his critique a bit too well.
I've been married for over ten years now. Pointing out flaws in a woman, regardless of how true they are, is never going to end in anything better than hurting their feelings. That's a best-case scenario. Normally, the word "disaster" comes to mind. Then again, I might simply not be socially and emotionally intelligent enough to pull it off.
This game is in serious need of bonus chapters like Snoot Game to develop them more. In my head, I think Ben is the perfect candidate for this. I typed this before, but if they were in 3 parts like Snoot Game, I think they could focus on his backstory, his relationship with Mia with an additional flashback to when they first met like with Naomi's chapter, and then ending with showing his relationship with Lunara and showing how much of a better partner she is than Mia.
