Welcome back to the channel!

We're a month into this character now and if I don't start preparing for long term survival soon, we're probably gonna shot ourselves in the foot a bit, ESPECIALLY with this fractured leg. The best way to do that is husbandry.

We have a chicken coop, we have nails, we have wood. Only things we're missing is a full enclosure, and, well, chickens. If we can get at least the enclosure done today and see if we can thin the numbers at our local chicken supplier, we should really be able to get ourselves some eggs prepped and be food secure ready for winter, should al go to plan anyway.
