first mercenaries stage is in china but it different from story, in story you can easily go back with chapter select it had parts (autosave point) of chapters too sadly from what i seen this feature only exist in re5 and re6, revelations 2 only had chapter select too but no parts

But the city is influenced alot from Hong Kong, such as the Kowloon Walled City and also wet and fruit markets in Yau Ma Tei

I googled and I found out that RE6 is set in a fictional coastal city in China named Lanshiang
