The Why and The How
In a fit of blind rage while under the influence of drugs, I swung my skull club directly at Kelvins head, cleaving it smoove off. I sought the necromantic arts of the mutants to revive him, to no avail. So instead I used cheats instead. If you kill Kelvin, you can fix it, but if you kill my girlfriend, you can also fix it this way too, but I'll be very mad.

Step One - Enable Cheats

Many walkthroughs and guides I've seen for reviving dead NPCs involve risky save editing. Naturally, I'm not smart enough to do that, apparently (i couldn't save my edits to the jsons cause my computer hates me) so we're gonna do this the easy way. If you have cheats enables on GAME START, great! If not, fret not, as no guide says you can reenable them, I'm here to tell you, YOU CAN('T).

So... it depends. If youre in singleplayer and you have cheats disabled through custom difficulty, i'm afraid to say I have yet to find a way to reenable them. Multiplayer? You can change that via the PLAYERS menu when you pause the game. Just navigate through the other menus in the PLAYERES menu and change cheats from off to on.

Step Two - Actually enable cheats
Assuming you have Cheats Enabled in your game, and if you're in multiplayer have the applicable perms on the host game, type on your keyboard, and yes thats not in any particular menu, just type

cheatstick

once thats done, hit F1 and you'll have the console.

If Kelvin is dead, type this command addcharacter robby 1
If Virginia is dead, type this command addcharacter virginia 1

Thats the guide. I have to go drink my sorrows away... I murdered my boy...

excellent question, theres a command to clear entities, i dont recall the specific command. That said the cheat menu where you type commands in does have a autofill option, you should be able to find it there if you type entities or clear entities. We used that to remove the dead body

That said, if you have ANYTHING thats not stored in a container that you would like to not go away, like a bunch of logs or something, clean that up first as they will also be deleted.

is there any way to dissable the tracker of the dead kelvin, or does he despawn after a few times

Saving this in the horrid case of a golf cart accident or friendly fire while my friend and I go cannibal bowling. He's such a good lad. Also if you haven't tried running cannibals and mutants over with a golf cart 10/10 would recommend.

No amount of analysis can convey the quality of Saving Kelvin: A remorseful guide. It is a truly gripping story, told in a lean, hard, athletic narrative prose that puts more literary guides to shame.
