This mod prevents the game from giving away details about how a raid will proceed, such as whether raiders will breach walls, attack immediately or avoid traps.

Description

Hey! We will attack you by breaching your walls, okay? Also, we know where your traps are!

While it makes some sense to announce raid mechanics to a non-experienced player, this is a poor choice for experienced ones. It does not make much sense logically to know in advance, and it makes raids less thrilling, as a skilled player can automatically respond with the appropriate routine.

But what if raiders did not announce what their intent was? Will they attack immediately or will they take time to prepare? Will they breach the walls or use mortars? Will they attack at all?

Obvious information, such as arriving by drop pods, is still included.

Raid-like events from mods may be masked as normal raids (configurable, enabled by default).

Supported mods
Other mods may possibly work out of the box, otherwise they need to use this[github.com] to add support like this[github.com].

What happens in cases where a mod is incompatible ( e.g insectoids 2 etc ) the raid shows as normal right no risk of crash.

@NomadicOsiris: I'm pretty sure there's a mod that makes raids silent, and there should be also some fog of war mods. Just search the workshop.

First, thank you for making this mod, It adds a lot more realism! Then, I was wondering if you Ilunak, or anyone in this thread knows of mods for making raids as realistic as possible - like no raid alarm, just a ton of people approaching, and no way to ID group factions without talking to them or from their bodies. Lol, I'd even go so far as to want a mod that makes non-faction pawns invisible without one of your pawns being able to see them in line of site, but I have a feeling the last one is really likely not possible.
