Opis
Dynamic:

Fight in a quick skirmish, decisive battle or grand campaign.
Composition of formations varies from mission to mission.

Persistent:

Conquered areas are saved to next mission.
Map control affects formation morale and supply situation.

Customizable:

Play with vanilla, mod or DLC factions.
Command or be commanded by HIVE_AI, with adjustable difficulty.

Notes:

Scale is 1000m, 1500m or 2000m of area radius with 6 (+3), 10 (+5) or 14 (+7) groups per side.
Faction must have an cfgGroups configuration.

-created mission
-selected fair (equal sides)
-spawned with my 6 guys
-ran into tanks (we had no AT)
-got shredded
-uninstalled.

@vat hom flaffie - For NOW, you can use my mod to remove vehicles AFTER they have spawned AND have AI in the vehicle.

If they get respwaned, then you will have to remove them at each respawn.

Difference? One uses APEX gear and the other does not! THAT IS IT! :)



Both can be used on almost all maps. BOTH can be used without creating any mission prior. Load a map with just 1 man on the ground is all that is required.


#1 is a mod, so it must be loaded in via the launcher.

#2 - BOTH are mission files. Just subscribe and find in the your SP mission/Steam under 'Missions'.

@piter306 - It is called HETMAN. 10+ years old and WORKS, on almost all maps. EASY to port over as well. MANY maps are on Steam already!

SAI is quite good in single-player mode, you could allow manual selection of the battle location, end the battle say after losing 3/4 of the forces, and let the mission remember the progress, and that's it :)

No it is not currently very functional, it is being developed. It will not be a standalone script and it may have some similarities to HIVE. The main goals is to have an mission that is multiplayer compatible, with graphical user interface. It will be more RTS oriented mission, where units/groups are commanded by player or AI, and in there is a points system with which units/groups are purchased. But much like HIVE it will be quite dynamic and support mod/DLC factions.

Is the script for SAI currently functional for mission making? If so, is it similar to HIVE and will there be a manual for it?

Ohh, *this* workshops posting aka mission is not mp compatible. The version 2 (which is not done yet / is under development) will be mp compatible.
