In first : discover the game.
In second : optimization of production, conctruction and defense. And learning animals and vegetals. You should use Rita or Maki to discover new species when they travels in hot air ballons. Good people for beginners (I prefer Rita).

yeah i waste lot of time on it and i just realize that the mission on that scenario is to return. The worst thing is i accept lot of survivor so need lot of time to rescue them from the planet.
