"An older drawing from a more energetic, rambunctious time, this time of a friend of mine's Raptor character. Inspired by Ark Survival, the local landscape, and a strong desire to give something to a friend, I made this, with the intent of a watercolor style background and a cell-shaded raptor. I particularly liked doing the clouds and the cabin and the mountains in the distance. This was right around when I was starting to get serious about drawing, but didn't yet have techniques really developed for fur and feathers or anatomy and sometimes perspective would be horribly off on some pics. This is one of the best from the time period.
