Half-Life 2: Alyx Overhaul
I'm very excited to introduce my Half-Life 2 texture overhaul!

All textures in this mod use assets from Half-Life: Alyx and utilize these to give Half-Life 2's maps a fresh, updated look, while also creating some visual synergy between the two games. Other texture mods that have used Half-Life: Alyx textures, tend to look too clean and sharp in my opinion. Therefore, I've tried to stay true to Half-Life 2's style, and keep the textures gritty and in-sync with the Half-Life 2 aesthetic.

This is a project derived from my own passion for the game. I have no expertise or knowledge of how to develop games or mods. So bare with me if any errors or bugs occur.
What's Included:
For now a complete texture overhaul of the surroundings in Chapter One: Point Insertion.
Around 500 enhanced textures (1,55 GB), all 4x the scale of Half-Life 2's original textures, have been meticulously Photoshopped and altered to better match the aesthetic of Half-Life 2.
A more immersive and visually appealing experience that brings Half-Life 2 closer to modern standards.
Important Notes:
As a result, you may encounter some graphical errors or mismatches in textures in later chapters of the game.
The mod is a work in progress, and I am working on it in my spare time. Therefore, there is no fixed schedule for future updates or releases. I plan to continue updating and expanding the mod whenever I have the time.
Updates will be released as I complete the chapters.
