"Decul, known as 'the Pale Impaler' or 'the Bigeared', former member of VIII legion and the last scion of "House Decul" crime family, who turned to his own allegiance. Decul was driven to seething rage toward his Legion after many betrayals and conspiracies by his own and the revelation of Legion's downfall. He spilled enough blood of those who conspired against him in the last days of Thramas Crusade, before he and very few of his company — survivors of this war within the VIII, fled into the void. But not for long.
Leading a treacherous Blackshield unit known as 'Hand of Doom', 'Ghoulish Tyrants' or 'Pale Impalers ', Decul fought alongside both sides in Mankind's civil war, only to turn a sword against them in the end. Marching from the darkness of the furthest reaches of known space, the Ghoul Stars, his warband brings nothing but destruction to anyone in their path. Now even more reckless after ten millennia of surviving in endless war, he is about to bring down new horrors on galaxy in which he no longer had a place.
