By NoneTheWiser
I seem to have found a bit of a trick involving catching fish, this guide will show you how to execute it.

So, like most people, you're taking about half an hour trying to catch some stupid 2000g fish correct?

Well, don't worry. I have some advice for you!
The Basics
So, this guide already assumes you know how to fish, if you don't, there are about 10 other guides out there specifically talking about fishing, I'd suggest one of those first.

Now that that's out of the way, did you know you can use the left stick (or WASD or whatever you have it set to) to move the lure in the water?

The directions you can move it are left, right, and down, but down isn't going to help us for this, left and right on the other hand...

They are the saving graces for us today, to practice, just cast your lure into the water and hold left and/or right and watch that lure move!

You'll know it's working if

A. it... moves.

B. Big has an animation like the above screenshots.
Execution
So now, here we are. The final part.

In order to do this effectively you MUST be using your action button to slowly reel otherwise,
it will snap.

Now then, after the fish hits, start reeling and alternating between left and right, sometimes it's a bit jank and a certain direction won't work, if this happens just try the other direction or letting go of the direction you're holding.

Now another important part, pay attention to the tension gauge! You probably already knew that though...

The best time I found to let go of the action button was when the lure was moving left or right, as it seems to lock the fish from moving anywhere else, which is why I'm pretty sure this works in the first place.

The last piece of advice I have for you is to just practice. It might take some time to get use to, but once you get it, these levels will become easier/less luck based.
The End
Thank you for reading!

Sorry this was sloppily made, this was my first (and maybe only) guide. If this is somehow only working for me... I am so so, sorry.

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening and goodnight.
