Beskrivelse

Somewhere, deep within the alps, surrounded by trees, massive valleys and mountains, Chipper, a large lumber mill, resides, but there's something under it that Red and Blue want, and the only doorway to get inside is in each teams Base...






Chipper is a classic 5cp map, modeled after 5cp maps like Badlands, Fastlane and Yukon, while still taking more modern design queues from Process and Reckoner! Chipper aims to provide a more chaotic, and DM focused 5cp experience, all points were designed to facilitate multiple 1 on 1 engagements, while still offering ample opportunity for point fights! Each point area was designed to be a unique combat space, while still feeling fair and fresh!








Chippers aesthetic was inspired by the likes of classic Alpine maps, like Lumberyard. Chipper aims to still provide a unique look compared to other Alpine themed maps, re-using materials from other maps, and creating unique building silhouettes to create a unique palette and aesthetic, rooted in classics.

I'm still working on the Video, I'm taking my time to try and ensure i get everything right, and I get to say everything I want to, so check back in a few weeks! In the meantime, have this time-lapse:

i need to replace those doors with brush doors some time, because the props with the hand signs on them only have them on both sides, its so annoying hahaha, im just too scared to touch any part of the logic

Classic is right. This map has a very chipper (pun absolutely intended) atmosphere to it and this map feels straight out of 2010 TF2. My only issue is the spawn doors on each team's first forward spawn. It has the Do Not Enter logo on both sides, which confused me briefly until I realized I could exit through the door

Looks great, I just think we have way too many 5cp maps in the game, I wouldn't mind seeing this added if they were to first remove the abandoned 5cp maps like metalworks or vanguard
