"Before Abysia invaded the lands of Pyrene, Vanir settled in the region. Having left their homeland over religious differences they subjugated the human neighbors of Pyrene and created a new kingdom. With the invasion of Abysia the limited Vanir force crumbled and the survivors fled, sailing into the Sea of Darkness.

Across the sea a bountiful island was discovered. Divided into seven kingdoms it was settled by the survivors. Using Vanir and Xana illusions it was then hidden from the world till an explorer brought word of the Awakened God. Now the people of Vantillia have realized they must share the blessings of their island with all, by the word or the sword."

Vantillia is a hidden island kingdom based on the Iberian myths of Visigoth survivors from the Islamic conquest. Vanir intermingled with Iberian fay and humans to create a nation specialized in glamour and air magic. Magic to keep their new home hidden from the world but with the Ascension War their isolation has to end.

Militarily they have slave warriors based on the Iberian practice of slaves in the military. Combined with troops in Vanir style equipment but more human blood. Summons and sacreds allow for access to more pureblood fay units with a talent for illusions.
