You need to unlock the 'Lifeline' upgrade from Eperin to be able to access the bottom of the well and unlock the upgrade, thank's to SquashMyMouse for providing this information.

From this place, go bottom left to find a waterfall.

Then go through the waterfall.

You can go down until you find a small island with a well.

Go inside and you should find the gift on the floor.

That's it, hope you will enjoy trying this new gift.

i did and no prompt but doing a run seems to have fixed it when i tried again after

If you have a friend that is missing this gift, just go down the well and let him teleport to you - ez clap <3

I'm pretty sure that you need the 'Lifeline' upgrade from Eperin to be able to go down the well. Would definitely be worth mentioning. It's only 300 Cogs :) Though please do correct me if i'm wrong. Great and informative guide!
