WARNEXT is a modding project for WARNO that aims at bringing current and future units in the game (2020-2050).

The mod is early in development and introduces very limited modifications for now but we will bring modifications step by step with the objective of reaching a complete overhaul of the experience in the end with new weapons, units, traits, etc.

The first milestone V0.1 “Bir-Hakeim” was reached, introducing some test units of the first division we will release with V0.2 : the French 1re Division Blindée.
This first step only contains data but we are starting integration of custom 3D models that will progressively replace the vanilla ones we use temporarily.

We already started groundwork on the first Russian and American divisions … but more news soon about them !

If you are interested in joining the project yourself or know other creators with similar initiatives feel free to reach out ! There is no small contribution and the more we are, the more content and variety we will be able to bring.

We are starting to work in parallel on multiple divisions as people in the team have different interests but China will be the last of the 4th division for sure, as it's the nation we know less about, so it will need more research

can we get modern china before russia? No one has really added china to the game but it would be a really cool addition

@Sergeant Braphog Hi there, i'm one of the 3D modelers for this upcoming mod. From what i've heard they've changed the way to upload custom models into WARNO.

I'm currently working on 4+ models from the ground up, so they are coming. But when will they be implemented, try to keep an eye on the discord. -S

@daniel it's still going to be far more successful than warno because the devs are not lazy. Again this recent beta that just past had more players than warno ever did. It's not even remotely a flop

@FatLordForker Broken arrow is hardly a flop it's so far from a flop. If it's such a flop why did this past beta have more players than warno again for the second time, the first time was with the previous open beta in February

Since broken arrow is kind of an arcade flop, this is something to look up too
