Mabe you could have the tutorial lead into a storyline that takes place on that large island map that would then lead you to leaving the island to escort the cart thing and the all the stuffs that you said happens
but it still counts as "you failed your quest" and you get banished to the island again. than you set out to find your way back of the island and to prove that you are worthy to serve... or... something. Yay for over lengthed comment.

Neat, I often wondered if there was going to be some sort of pve aspect to it... Honestly I would of started with a single player game first with this type of combat.
