What Does This Do?
This guide will have a very quick and easy fix to get your game up to modern standards and work with ONLINE MULTIPLAYER.

Someone in the discussions posted a 1080p 60fps patched exe, and I have also edited this exe to work with Openspy servers, and have tested it. So you can now play vanilla and CUSTOM TRACKS online with your friends!
Installing The Patched EXE
So, as mentioned, this exe patches the game to run in 1080p, 60fps. Many thanks to the guy in the steam discussions who posted this fix.
I took the exe, edited it with HxD to change all of the gamespy.com entries to openspy.net, essentially changing the master server from gamespy (long dead now) to openspy!

Below is a link to the patched exe, remove the spaces in the link. paste in your internet browser, all you need to do is replace your vanilla MvA exe with the patched one, and you will have 60fps, 1080p, and online multiplayer functionality! (please backup your original MvA exe or you will have to reinstall your game.)

@untitled : Hey, did you find a solution? I have the excact problem as you. I tried everything to launch the exe but it just wont work.

its a post man, my bad. nobody plays this and i just took the exe you made and added openspy support.

oh lol it was that easy, thanks. I just thought it wasn't possible to make an account until I realized it was Openspy. Last question: is there currently a way to turn v sync off in this game or not yet?

it says gamespy but its openspy. just make an account and login

how do I play on openspy servers? I try to go online but I'm stuck at the gamespy login screen
