Foxhole is a cooperative MMO centered around a persistent war in Caoiva, where even the smallest actions can have a huge impact on the overall war effort. Whether playing solo or as part of a regiment, every seemingly insignificant task directly benefits your faction and influences the outcome of the war.

This is precisely what fascinates and captivates me about this game.

The videos from my project, Warden Line Express Broadcast, for Foxhole, blend information, tutorials, and propaganda-style entertainment inspired by 1940s US Army films, all focused on the Wardens faction.

⍟ Creating Basic Materials and Shirts #001 ⍟
These are two of the most important resources in the game. Without basic materials, there are no buildings, weapons, or vehicles. And without shirts, no soldier can respawn at a base. If a base runs out of supplies, it becomes an easy target for the enemy to capture.

That’s why this new video series focuses on the core mechanics of the game – the why, what for, where, and how. Experienced players might already know all of this, but for new players, who can quickly become overwhelmed by the game’s complexity, these tutorials are designed to provide orientation, inspiration, and motivation.

⍟ Additional Tips ⍟
Tip 1: Press M to open the map in the game. At first, you'll see too many icons, which can make navigating the world difficult. Where are the refineries, scrap fields, seaports, and factories? Hold down the [SHIFT] key and left-click on one of the icons on the left side of the map. This will filter the map to show only the icons you're looking for, helping you plan your routes more efficiently.

Tip 2: Working together is faster and easier. Gathering resources is one of the more repetitive tasks in the game—it can get boring and, at times, exhausting. To make it more enjoyable, it’s always better to join a regiment and gather resources or produce goods with friends and comrades. Foxhole is a social and cooperative game, and the international community is very helpful.

Tip 3: You can easily switch fuel (diesel or gasoline) between vehicles. Stand next to the vehicle, press [E], look to the right side of the screen to see which fuel type it uses, and click the "Change Fuel" button at the bottom. Gasoline only becomes available once the faction has researched it. At the start, there’s only diesel.

Tip 4: If you're part of a regiment or a group of friends, you can set up private stockpiles in each warehouse and seaport. These are protected by a password or code, which you’ll receive and can share with others. You’ll have access to these stockpiles as long as they are reactivated every two days. Otherwise, the stored items will move to the public trust.

Tip 5: I made a mistake in the video. It’s never the CTRL key, but always the SHIFT key that’s needed.
