Niwarn Live Recap
In case you missed it, P`ZAX and MaNy_BlacK went live on YouTube four weeks ago. The stream was conducted in Thai, but a live recap was posted afterward for non-Thai speakers.

Here's the mentioned stream and the live recap.

New Characters
With the latest update, two new characters have been introduced: a Visitor and a Warden.
Let me introduce you to Gwyneth
a nimble, cautious, deadly, and seamless agent.
Gwyneth’s Active Perk "Blade Master" grants her a non-discardable combat knife that inflicts 3 damage/second bleeding with each hit. If she's not holding a ranged weapon, she can parry (R) to stun the Warden for 1.5 seconds and deal 15 damage. Each parry uses 1 of the knife’s 3 durability units and triggers a 15-second cooldown. Durability is restored on revival.

Gwyneth’s Relic, "Athame Knife," restores 10 units of stamina at level 1, 20 units at level 2, 30 units at level 3, and 40 units at level 4 when Visitors successfully attack the Warden with a Chaplet.

Let me introduce you to Silent Man
Silence is the loudest sound in the dark.

Silent Man's Perk "Demon's Grasp" allows Silent Man to crouch down to pierce his arm into the ground and prepare to attack. The camera shifts to the view of the skill, where Silent Man can control the placement of the skill. Activating the Demon's Grasp will spawn thorns that pierces the Visitors within the range of the skill and cost 1 bar of Bloodseek for Silent Man. The skill will deal 26 units of damage, and the thorns will remain active for 0.5 second.

Silent Man's skill "Apparition" grants him a temporary movement speed increase of 200 units and accelerates Bloodseek gain by 50%. While in this state, his body becomes translucent, except for the first 2 seconds after activation. Upon exiting the Apparition state, Silent Man will lose 200 units of movement speed for 1 second.

Silent Man's skill "Surge" upgrades his weapon without affecting movement speed. Normal attacks cost 1 bar of Bloodseek.
  • With 1-3 bars of Bloodseek, he wields a spear in his right hand, increasing his attack distance by 3 meters.
  • With 4-5 bars, he gains a blade-whip weapon in both hands, increasing his attack distance by 6 meters.

Silent Man's curse, "Devil's Grimoire," summons 4 evil spirits that launch towards Visitors within an 8-meter range. When the spirits reach their target, the Visitors’ auras are revealed for 5 seconds, and their vision is decreased for 20 seconds. The spirits can be exorcised using Holy Water and Holy Rice. After use, this curse goes on a 60-second cooldown.
Live Service replaced with a Peer-To-Peer System
The Game is switching from Live Service (Dedicated Game Servers) to a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) system, allowing players to connect and create game rooms on their own without needing a central server. In this new setup, the player taking on the role of Warden will act as the Host (Server). While players will enjoy greater flexibility, there are some limitations, such as the possibility of the room closing or becoming unstable if the Warden leaves. Home Sweet Home: Online's team is working hard to improve this system while still maintaining a queue system for players.

Read more about the Peer-to-Peer system in this Article of steam here.

* Since the transition to the P2P system, there is currently a problem with Western players not being able to matchmake with players from the Asia region without a VPN, which increases queue times significantly.
This can be fixed by following the steps in the Video below.

The main motive for switching from Live Service to the P2P system is probably to save costs. Eliminating the need for dedicated servers significantly reduces infrastructure and maintenance costs.
Removal of Ranked mode and Battle mode (4V4)
With the latest update, Home Sweet Home: Online continues to be a 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer game following the removal of the 4v4 Battle mode and ranked mode. This change emphasizes the core gameplay dynamics of the original format, shifting the focus back to the unique experiences of the visitor and the warden.

Ranked mode
There's not much to say about Ranked mode, as it was basically our beloved 4v1 Asymmetric mode, only with ranks the objectives remained the same while you had to pray and escape or pray and exorcise the Warden to climb the rank system while the Warden hat to obviously kill the Visitors.

Battle mode
Win through collecting souls in a 4vs4 style battle where the Visitor that holds the Warden Soul will turn into a Warden to hunt down the visitor on the other team. The other Visitors has to do their best to stay alive to limit their loss. There can only be one winner in the war between sides.

  • The 4 visitors must work together to complete the awakening ritual to summon the "Warden's Soul". After completion, they will receive 1 "Warden Soul".
  • The Visitor that holds the "Warden Soul" can spawn and play as a Warden to hunt down the other team's Visitors.
  • Over time the power of the Warden Soul decreases causing the Warden to slowly lose HP. The Visitors have to keep performing the ritual to restore their Warden's powers or store it to summon a new Warden that replaces the old one.
  • The team that collects the most Warden Souls within the time limit wins the match. If the results end in a tie, The first team that can take down an enemy Visitor wins.ะ

Wardens that reverted back to being a Visitor will receive a "Karma Points" based on how many Visitors they eliminated. If the other team's Warden eliminates the reverted Visitor, they will receive the Karma points as bonus points for the team.

Removal of Precious Pots
While there were Greedy Pots and Bullet Pots, there were also Precious Pots, which were priced at 2,100 Amethyst per pot. The pots would contain 12 skins that would change with each season, the skins were also based on the season's theme.

When you collect all 12 items in the Precious Pot for each season, you will receive an additional Grand Prize item.

* With the removal of the Precious Pot's the Items of it are moving to the Anonymous Store.
All Items will now be in the Greedy Pots
