What are "Memories"?
Memories are a repository of our past. They consist of the different experiences, emotions, and moments that shape not only our lives but who we are as a person. They are not just 'records of the past'; they are interlaced with our identities. They provide a basis for our beliefs and values.

These memories can bring forth emotions from happiness and joy to sadness and even regret. Some memories are burned into our brains to never be forgotten. Others can become faded, losing their clarity and sometimes completely forgotten.

Even though some memories may fade, it is important to realise the memory itself may be gone, but the lessons learned and the essence of what that memory represented will always be there subconsciously.

Memories are another construct of life. They influence our sense of self. They show who we are and where we come from. They are often tied to emotions, and the more emotional a memory is, the more likely we are to remember it.

Being intentional about creating memories and cherishing them can enhance our life experiences. They challenge us, remind us of difficult times and push us through the trials and tribulations of the future. Finding a way to preserve memories is important as it allows us to revisit and reflect on past moments in time.

As we navigate through life, we need to remind ourselves that memories are the treasures of the past. They serve as a source of strength and guidance for the future. Memories are powerful forces that push us through life, no matter how hard it gets. They remind us that human life is complex but beautiful.
