Hello Everyone!!

The Great Revision became a Series!

After the release of the main mod TGR, we received a lot of feedback from the community, so we decided to create a "Series" taking all the features present in The Great Revision, and split in several mini-mod, to allow the players to decide themself which feature apply in full freedom!

EPISODE 5 - GERMAN UNIFICATION

In the previous episodes, we did speak about Economy, Trade, Cultures and more else. But another thing that currently in Vanilla still doesn't work well are the Contries Unification.
Basically the probability that a Country could unificate a territory in a bigger Nations depends by a lot of elements, which one of the main factor is the Driver given to the AI from their strategies.

In TGR i experimented the code trying to create a better Italian Unification, and even if the code wasn't full cleaned, the output we have got was good.

Today, so i Introduce a new feature:
The Great German Unification!

This mod create different Events and Triggers to push the AI to Unify Germany under the leadership of Prussia, so trying to get a more historical path!
This new mod introduce new buttons for the Vanilla Journal Entries, and also some triggers to make the AI more smart to create the North German Confederation and then the German Empire!

I hope this mod shall make happy who likes to have a more historical gameplay, and in general also who don't like to have Prussia as Nation in 1936!

@_Ex0dus_ Hey the event for the brother war start after you declare war to Austria for the leadership.
This unfortunately cannot be managed through JE, so you should declare war, and you'll see that after a month the event trigger.

So in my first play-through, I was able to "Start the Blitzkrieg" however denmark immediately backed down and gave me just half of it. Only Holstein but it then completed the question even though Schleswig isnt german yet. Also its 1950 and i have yet to get any events for the brother war to get german leadership

Hi!
Yes, unfortunately (or fortunately) the goal of this mod is to create a "historical" path for Prussia, so even if you try to oppose, Prussia will form NGF and then German Empire anyway.
If you want do some unhistorical path, i suggest to let German Empire form and then try to cut its size, or simply deactivate this mod :)

hallo, im france and i ally austria to counter prussia, we win the brothers war, i gain the rhineland, i puppet bohemia with the spheres of influence, and then late into the game prussia annexes all of the ngc. i get its a scripted event but the mod acts as prussia will always win

i have the same problem with savoy-sardinia losing the italian unification war against two sicilies yet annexes two sicilies with their event

Hi!
Unfortunately is not a bug, but a scripted event which will make all minor German nation to be annexed to NGF.
Yeah it's very annoying, but the idea is to make Germany form with his historical terrotories. :)

Found a bug, I'm playing France and the north german confederation formed, then it annexed the rhineland that I owned as an incorporated state, and it also annexed part of the confederation of the rhine which is my puppet. None of these should happen.

mm this is strange because Austria is "triggered" to lose the brother war.
the only one way Austria can win is if Russia join on his side, but this i fixed in the last update i did this 5th January.

I see that you did write the comment on 22th December. Can you tell me if you are still having this issue?

Hi Obitobi!

This mod gives a driver to Prussia to annex basically all the north german nations to form NGF + annex south german nations to form Germany, but leaving Austria untouched.

Did this issue to you happened in a single game, or it did happen several times?
