This is my review for Monster Hunter Rise. Before diving into the content, it's important to note that this guide also serves as a small reference, including game content such as menus, options, and features, to help users understand what the game offers in terms of configuration rather than giving away story or gameplay spoilers.

　I’ll write my in-depth review here, as Steam has an 8K character limit. Additionally, it's important to remember that this guide is purely based on personal opinions as a casual player reviewing the game, and it focuses solely on the Monster Hunter Rise experience. You haven't seen a review quite like this before. COnsider to follow my curator :)

　In Option we had Audio, Save Data, Display, Language, Privacy, and Promotion.

　To be honest, Rise is like World but still world better than rise and has many useful settings. On its audio settings, it offers:

It's annoying, as you'll be asked to save the game every time you finish a quest when this option off. when you turn it on it will auto save whenever you change location etc. Technically, this option is useless

　󠁧󠁳󠁧󠁳Another thing to mention: once you're in the game, you'll also have multiple new options, like control binding, etc. I’m not putting those in this guide since I usually showcase what people want to see from the main menu. If you want me to include those extra in-game options, just give this guide an award. Five awards minimum, and I’ll update it. ;)

　󠁧󠁳󠁧󠁳In Language Settings we have both text and voice options. I picked Monster Hunter language. Unlike those Rise fanboys who call others idiots on forums, claiming Rise and World are easy just to feel better like real animals, or the ones who say Rajang in Rise is harder than in World. All these idiotic players usually pick English voices because they’re racist toward Japanese or pick Japanese voices because they’re degenerate weebs. Look at me, the real fan, using Monster Hunter language.

In Privacy Options we have two settings:

　Monster Hunter Rise is the reason why Monster Hunter World is better! Period. If you're here and almost believe all those clowns saying Monster Hunter Rise is better than World or harder than World, then you're in the right place. Because let me tell you, all of those clowns are literally just... A clowns looking for attention stuck at magnamalo quest.

　I love every Monster Hunter game. I’ve played since MHF, MHF2, MHFU, and MH3rd Portable. Then I stopped because PC gaming is better than handheld consoles, which is why MHW is better than MHR. The problem with MHR isn't just the weird Wirebug gameplay that messes up most weapons But after playing MHR, I realize the devs really only put love into the Gunlance and, of course, the anime sword (yeah, MH players know which weapon that is). The best Insect Glaive from MHW was literally ruined in MHR, forcing me back to Sword and Shield just like me played the original handheld series.

　Just so you know, everything has become so simplified. Mining or gathering resources is super fast, just like MHR fans can barely last on bed with females mostly their hands since they don't have any Females friend. Literally, MHR is a CANCER. If MHW2 didn’t have hot drinks and cool drinks just because MHR got rid of them, then MHW>MHR.

　The only feature I like in MHR is the follower NPC, and that’s the one thing MHW2 should adopt without getting rid of the drink items, of course. It seems like Capcom knew they needed followers because MHR was dying so fast, which i'll explain on multiplayer section. Oh, and ofc, MHW>MHR.

　To be honest, I don’t really complain about MHR’s graphics, but I do have an issue with the Lava Caverns map. It’s literally a volcano with plastic-looking volcanic smoke. it’s like they used the lowest poly random objects thrown together is the worst smoke you’ll ever see. Most monsters look good, but some look awful, like my favorite, Bazelgeuse. Instead of being the majestic bomber Wyvern, it now looks like a cheap dildoes. That’s why MHW>MHR.

　Since MHR was made for the Nintendo Switch, of course it’s going to look like a feces, and even the fans who bought a Switch are all feces, turst me they think nintendo creating creature collect trying to sue all game that has same genre and all switch user agreed, what an idiotic gamer community oh wait you aint gamer if only stay on one platform that's why MHW>MHR. The worst part is some random guy on the Monster Hunter Rise forums saying the most nonsensical excuse you’ll ever hear... that "Rise's graphics are better than World". He said World has the 'fuzziest anti-aliasing.' Yeah, World looks blurry if you're using a low-quality monitor and resolution. They even claimed World uses 'useless color filters,' while Rise doesn’t. C’mon, man, their excuses are so empty. Trying to make them understand is like talking to a brick wall, playing too much rise they got brainrot. Player count doesn’t lie. World still has more players than Rise. That’s why MHW > MHR.

Even capcom asking you to go back!

　You know why MHR has fewer players than MHW now? Instead of hosting rooms with 15 people, they went back to their 4-player limit, becoming antisocial like all handheld users. Seriously, I used the random join feature and got kicked without even a word. Why are Switch users so antisocial, and why has MHR also same?

　Mostly, the game died because joining quests in MHW was more straightforward. you could see which quests were posted (and joinable peroid) and pick one. In Rise, it’s 'bye-bye' to that. Now you get a random button, and you don’t have the right to choose a list. Plus, you can join any late quest and still get rewards, even if the quest ends in five minutes or less. I joined a quest, and it ended right after I landed on the map. The guy was playing alone without any help. Imagine sacrificing one pet slot, waiting for someone to join, but instead, you’re at a disadvantage with only one pet, and then someone swoops in to take all the rewards just one second before the monster is killed. That’s why MHW>MHR.

　I mean, why? In my gaming experience, which is longer than those Monster Hunter Rise fanboys, the issue with rooms is that you can't see what quests people have posted. Unlike World, where you could check and join what you wanted, here in Rise you have to pray someone’s playing the right quest. I’m fine with helping on a challenging monster like MR Magnamalo or Malzeno, but the game throws me into rooms where people are still fighting Aknosom. Seriously, who’s asking for help on that little bird chick? You guys need help fighting Aknosom? Is Rise player so skill issue that they were the one who lost to Great Jagras in World switched to Rise, found it easier, but still struggle with Aknosom? Then they go and post threads saying, 'Whoever says this game is easier than MHW must be crazy.' Are all Monster Hunter Rise retarted?

　The only real challenges in MHW are Fatalis. which I’ve already hunted and Ruiner Nergigante, and that’s fine because those were a good hunt challange. But yeah, then there’s always that one guy on the forum saying, 'Both Rise and World are easy.' We know, buddy. You’ve got no friends, and you’re just a Rise fanboy trying to feel better. That’s why MHW>MHR.

　Playing with a D-pad controller works fine. BTW, if you’ve never played MHW, it’s better to start with MHR if it’s on sale, Ofc. But if you’ve already played MHW, don’t jump straight into MHR right after because the controls are ♥♥♥♥, mainly due to the Wirebug mechanic. Like I said, weapons like the Insect Glaive are already unplayable with the default buttons. Even though I know you can switch the Wirebug button and customize them, I prefer not to change anything and play with the default settings as intended. Yes, you can switch the buttons to make the Insect Glaive work like in MHW. I bet MHR fanboys don’t even know that. MHW>MHR.

　C’mon, I’m pretty sure Rise was made alongside World, who was the beta test here? I do love that we can have multiple skills for weapons, but the Wirebug is literally unnecessary. nobody really needs it, all Monster Hunter fans know that. That’s why MHW > MHR.

　I’ve decided to write my review after defeating Primordial Malzeno solo, then tried bringing follower. Unlike those MHR fanboys who claim MHW is easier and post reviews after just 3 hours after fighting Aknosom. pretty much those fanboy need online japanese user to carry them. here I am saying Rise has a lot of replayability. Ofc, for people who don’t know, Monster Hunter is always about grinding for materials, and it’s pretty worth it. even after reaching 200h.

　While grinding depends on your luck to get the random materials you need, money is a different problem. After I finished all of low rank and high rank, I started joining random S.O.S. High/low quests to get money, because it’s faster to get cash with eggs than grinding each quest alone. And yes, the Owl thingy Egg is kinda helpful but not quite effective, you need at least five quests or so. Unlike in Monster Hunter World, where Iceborne has that weird gacha machine, which is the best for grinding side items and money (aka eggs). That’s why MHW > MHR.

　Like usual, this ain't Monster Hunter if humans weren’t part of the problem. Ofc it's better than MHW since in MHR, those immigrants trying to kill random monsters who already live there is basically the same thing. But the Sunbreak expansion actually had a better story, since it was a virus-like plot inspired by COVID. The Chinese should thank Capcom for including their best bio-weapon in 2020. Still, I’ve got no problem with MHR. Like my title says, Hinoa and Minoto are the reason the story is good. no ugly Western woke faces here, so we’re good.

　And I bet Monster Hunter Rise fanboys are blindly and stupidly claiming the story is better than World. What a bunch of idiotic fanboys. They're all the same. don’t listen to those retarted. World is better, stronger, and that’s a fact.

We don’t really need it. It also messed up many weapons.

I know they tried something new for this game, but still, we all know Monster Hunter World is better and has more players and fans than Rise.

Oh yeah, talking about the stupidity of the entire Monster Hunter Rise community—whenever you ask for help, like not being able to run the game, being bad at the game, or even asking about materials—you know what you get? Insults from Monster Hunter Rise fans saying, "Don't use mods." Even someone who just bought the game and can't run it gets the same reply. What a clown community— the biggest in Monster Hunter history.

Why can we only pick one mission instead of having an entire selection menu like in World? Are the devs of Rise seriously that lacking in judgment?

Other quests have it, why not event quests? What’s wrong with this game and community?

Not sure if it's because people are kicking you or just lag, but yeah, I’d say connection is better than World since World had too many layers. But in Rise, getting kicked is questionable, especially since the game is dying and has fewer players.

Searching for materials is like gambling. Gacha is gambling! Listen to me, you who love to get laid with 2D anime characters—gacha is still gambling.

　Monster Hunter is the only game that has one big expansion, and it's always worth it. Buy that, period. Other DLCs are just cosmetics that won’t help you fight against Rajang. Even in this game, Rajang is much easier, What a skill issue.

　Ofc, if you want to get the full experience in Monster Hunter Rise or World, it's best with the expansions. I mean, if you love playing Elden Ring but can't handle Monster Hunter, that's a skill issue.

　Not only does the entire Rise community behave like manure, similar to those woke individuals who give negative reviews to normal, healthy games, but when we speak up, they play the victim card. It’s basically the same thing. Rise feels full of both men and women without balls has no testicle eaten by arknosom, continuously claiming that Rise is better than World. What a stupid statement! They remind me of those females who believe the moon is bigger than Earth.

　As for Capcom, it’s honorable to mention that they intentionally made this game unmodifiable, even for costumes. I’ve never cheated using mods, unlike those fanboys who use adult mods in The Sims. We all see Capcom making excuses so that everyone is not allowed to create mods, allowing them to sell costumes instead. Really, Capcom? Do you think gamers are stupid as those Rise fanboys who claim Rajang is harder with that slower speed than in world? LOL retarted capcom and its fanboy.

　I love Rise since I’m a true Monster Hunter fan, unlike those fanboys who seem paid by Capcom to insult anyone accusing entire earth using mods. If you’ve never played World, start with Rise, then move on to a better game like World, and eventually continue to Wild. Or just start on World to Wilds. Rise IS NOT IMPORTANT.

　Like me, who bought this game for just 12 bucks on a bundle site, unlike those fanboys who realized they wasted 60 bucks on a dying game that isn’t even better than World. and they suck at it cannot even fight againt monkey rajang whos slower in rise but struggle with arknosom. honorable mention just found random rise player said kitten dragon (Tigrex) is hard LOL. Entire community had skill issue. Go play MONSTER HUNTER WORLD.

　Oh no, I love Monster Hunter for its juicy, meaty meals and all the neat animations. But in Rise, it's like they said, 'Go to hell, eat vegetable instead so you'll buy on my family restaurant who actually affraid of cutting fish!' It feels as though Monster Hunter Rise is PAID by the vegan community. The dango mechanic isn't even as good as in any other Monster Hunter game mechanic really?

　And why do they have that weird child singing every time I want to eat? It's so annoying! I’m not sure what Capcom was thinking. are all Switch users supposed to be pedophiles, or are Monster Hunter Rise fanboys all predators? Luckly the child song over on sunbreak.

　Thankfully, in the upcoming of Monster Hunter Wilds, we'll be getting our juicy cow, lamb, horse, and rabbit meat back. All meat you can eat—veganism is bad! Definitely, World and wilds will sell more than Rise because MEAT IS BETTER. Cruel? go live in the ocean, grass and any vegetation creating oxygen.

　Need to mention if you don’t like toxic developers (Capcom) and toxic community, then avoid this game. Not only does Capcom pay idiots to insult everybody by saying they use mods, but they also suck. In World, I use bombs, and everyone is okay with it. In Rise, they hate you for it. Also, the automatic shoutout feature—whenever someone faints, I put 'Emotional Damage,' and in World, people thought it was funny. In Rise, they are too woke/gay/DEI/has no firend and personality will claim it’s insulting. See what’s wrong now? MH Rise has the most trash community in Monster Hunter history.

　Also, in the forum, when someone asks, 'I need help for a hunt,' you’ll see fanboys reply with 'I’m MR 100 bla bla bla, what’s yours?' Do they think this is competitive like Counter-Strike? How are they so proud of an MR rank when there’s literally no derank system? What a bunch of reitards. Oh, and I also need to mention that many times I’ve seen someone higher-ranked than me who sucks but still has a review saying, 'World is better than Rise.' Damn, this community is an embarrassment.

　If you share your opinion without using bad words or being violent on the forum, you’ll still get warned or banned for 'spamming' or off-topic because either Capcom or that one guy reports you using his multiple alts. Yet, that same person replies calling others 'idiots' and insulting them, but nothing happens to him—no ban. See the problem now? Go play Monster Hunter World. It seems Rise's community manager is woke. Go woke go broke. because woke people hate free speech when asking free speech.

　I need to mention that I've locked the comments on these artwork memes because Rise fans are literally trying to disguise themselves as World players to insult me in the comments (because no one react to the fact memes in my "Extra" section). See what's wrong now? The World community is better than Rise. That's why MHW > MHR.
