INTRODUCTION
Heavy - is an ultimate class that is perfect for all difficulties. Below you will see a build in which all difficulties are closed without any problems.
Great for Ruthless. Besides, I think he's well suited for a Lethal diffculty and Horde mode when it is released

GUN BUILD

Multi-Melta - It is currently the most powerful weapon for add-clearing, as well as dealing good damage to bosses. We make up for the lack of range with its damage.
In addition, Melta also great restores grey HP, which can save your life
Version: Ophelion Liberation - Alpha

Plasma pistol - is used very rarely, and we only keep it in case of an encounter with a Zoanthrope
Version: Ophelion Liberation

Heavy Plasma - has very good boss damage. You can swap Multi-Melta -> Heavy Plasma in front of the boss, if you want to maximize your damage
Version: Ophelion Liberation (DPS)/Gathalamor Crusade - Beta (Ammo capacity)

Heavy Bolter - great sound and feel, but not as efficient as other variants. Average add-clear, lower than average boss damage, and takes longer to implement. The only strong side - range
Version: Gathalamor Crusade - Beta

CORE BUILD

These perks will allow you to destroy anything that moves. And if something doesn't move, move it and destroy
  • ENCOPASSING AEGIS - take 20% Less Damage from ranged attacks
  • CONVERSION FIELD - great bonus for your mates. Their abilities charge up to 50% faster, when Iron Halo is active. Very useful for Bulwark and Tactical
  • MULTI-KILL - core perk for Melta ammoback
  • OVERWHELMING POWER - Increased damage for you and your brothers (within 10 meters of you) when Iron Halo is active
  • POWER REGULATOR - Increase duration on Iron Halo for OVERWHELMING POWER
  • BRUTE FORCE - Increased damage for you when Iron Halo is in cooldown

These are good perks, but not a gamechanger. Choose according to your preferences.

PLAYSTYLE
You are - Heavy. You want to go ahead and destroy everything you see. You are not interested in saving ammunition, you go and shoot. Ammocrates are your best friends, they will help you go on and shoot. Don't be afraid, make your enemies afraid of you! Play agressive!

Iron halo - is your core spell. Use it when:
  • You need to defend yourself against long-range attackers;
  • You want to increase your own damage or the damage of your brothers;
  • You wish to reduce the cooldown time of your brothers' abilities;

Krak Grenade - your choice. You have Multi-Melta for add-clearing, so you don't need frag/shock grenades. Krak Grenades are useful in battles against Majors/Extremis and have massive damage against Bosses

Relic - try to leave it to your brothers. You are very resilient without it

Heavy Stance - try to use it as often as possible. Your damage increases significantly in it. Turn it off for parry

Can you solo clear Ruthless difficulty?
Of course you can! A little practice, and even Ruthless will seem like a walk for you.

But I highly recommend that you arrange a massacre together with your brothers
The most well-matched with you:
  • Tactical - Auspex give for all mates +175% damage;
  • Sniper - deals high damage. You can allow him to shoot enemies from a safe distance;
  • Bulwark - Chapter Banner. I think there's nothing more to say;
Heavy + Tactical (Auspex) deal massive damage on Ruthless

Enjoy brothers! And remember

First of all, thanks for the guide! I appreciate it. I do have a question though; does the brute force perk actually work? I don't see the buff icon whenever iron halo is on cooldown, so it makes me wonder, is my damage actually higher?
