Chapter One - New Beginnings
It was a rather cold day. A female tiger named Firelilly and her mate Thorn, were expecting offspring. Tension held the air like a hug, wrapping its way around every nerve of Keepers, Vets, and animals. One of the vets, Mattew Whales, petted the expecting tiger's hind leg, soothing her with a calm tone of voice. It kept on going like that for about an hour, then, Firelilly yowled, pricked her ears and held her head high. A frizzy lump of stripes lay beside the Bengal Tiger. But it wasn't over, before she could lick her new cub, she found that she had given birth to twins !!! The oldest cub was a male named, Cardinal, and his sister named, Begonia. These cubs were special. They had thick, black stripes covering their hind legs. And it turned out that both Cardinal and Begonia were Pseudo tiger cubs !!!
Chapter Two - Growing Up
It wasn't long before the two cubs could walk and see. They were born in a small pen, because the other pen that held tigers were Siberian Tigers, and not Bengal Tigers like Firelilly, Thorn, Cardinal and Begonia. So as the workers built their new habitat, the tiger family lived in the small pen, waiting to be moved. At last, after a month or so, they were moved to their new habitat, leaving the old pen behind. As most tigers would, the cubs raced every which way, making poor Firelilly exhausted. But the cubs soon noticed that they could swim, and spent most of their time swimming in their pond. They were happy, and liked to play between the bamboo that surrounded their caves. Cardinal liked to follow his mother, while Begonia explored by herself. If Cardinal and Begonia weren't close to their parents, they played with each other, leaping onto each other, or playing tag and hide-and-seek.
Chapter Three - Alone Time
Firelilly and Thorn didn't get much alone time, since they had to feed the cubs, clean the cubs, make sure they didn't hurt themselves, etc. But once the cubs got around one years old, they started having more time on their paws. They'd mostly spend it on grooming, hanging out with each other, climb trees, and sleep. But Firelilly and thorn didn't want to be alone all the time. Since, in three years, Cardinal and Begonia would be grown, and they would be alone for most of their lives after that.
Chapter Four - A Stumble or Two
Once, Cardinal and Begonia were so playful, that while they followed Firelilly, and Firelilly decided to rest under the shelter of bamboo, they pounced on each other so hard, they almost landed in the river near them. Begonia and Cardinal had airplane ears, and softly growled at each other. Then they both yowled in a joyful manner, before continuing with their play-fighting. But little did they know that they were two years old now, and soon they would be adolescents, and life would get way more challenging for the two young tiger cubs.

@Varick Thank you so much! I like playing with words, and try to make a story that you can almost imagine. I still have a lot to learn, and I try my best. I had a little brain fog yesterday, but I'm always trying to think of ways to play with words and create a wonderful experience.

Nicely done. Your "Tension held the air like a hug, wrapping its way around every nerve of Keepers, Vets, and animals." is outstanding. :)
