sad that playermodels no longer react when a player uses their microphone? I've got the solution! with my fix you can have a conversation with your friends again without feeling like they're ventriloquists!

I detailed at the end of the video the reason why this basic functionality is broken in gmod, if you have any suggestions for improvement I'm ready to try to implement it..even if I suck at glua haha!

I've already explained at least three times why it's useless in the comments. Just having to type a command for it, which also requires a local server, is terrible.

Anyway, Facepunch seems to have solved the problem in the latest update... In short, try to find out more before commenting next time

For the gmod's mouth movement to work, you need to start a 2+ player server and type voice_loopback 1 in the console, author

So their fix is no longer based on the pitch of the voice but simply on a preconfigured movement? Hmm, interesting. I'll have to compare their movements with mine.

they did, but its very small, the mouth only moves very very small

it's very likely that Facepunch finally fixing the problem in the game code
