Route/Strat
Head around the corner to the middle of the cocoons, activate Ashen Slumber spell and immediately do the AOE exit attack, then warp back to the shrine. Rinse and repeat.

Numbers
This route with this *build* will net you around 3.25k Will every 30 seconds which is 6.5k every minute - 390k every hour. I did this for a little over two and a half hours to get to a million! You can also sell off all of the tiny gold nuggets that drop as well, I had an extra 50k or so come from those. Along with the Will gain, I had about 60 levels of spirits to spend afterwards too.

Mind-numbingly boring but effective. I would still rather farm Rockrest Flat in Fright Cliff, Chapter 2, for much less exp/Will but you can get Mind Cores from those horse-like enemies.
