⍟ Foxhole ⍟ is an immersive MMO sandbox game that has completely transformed my gaming experience after 20 years in the hobby. Through the narrative Warden Line Express mini-project, I want to give back and contribute artistically to the immersion, as well as to the supportive players who have been part of my journey so far.

▬ ⍟ Today: Spawnpoints and Shirts ⍟ ▬
Today, I'm sharing two essential tips: where to place your spawnpoints and why it's better to let medics revive you. These are valuable insights I offer to both new and veteran players to enhance their gaming experience. And I do that in the beloved vintage style of US Army Training videos of WW2.

▬ ⍟ How to Do it ⍟ ▬
1. To set up a spawnpoint, locate a Forward Operating Base (FOB or BB) or other deployable structures like Outposts or Garrison Houses. These structures allow you to set a spawnpoint that your team can use to quickly return to the battlefield. Access the structure’s menu and select the option to set your spawn. It’s crucial to choose a location that is both safe from enemy fire and strategically positioned near the frontlines.

2. When placing spawnpoints, think about the flow of battle. Place them close enough to the action to provide quick reinforcements, but far enough to avoid being overrun by enemies. A well-placed spawnpoint can turn the tide of a battle by ensuring your team can consistently and rapidly rejoin the fight.

3. Every time you respawn, you use up a “shirt”—a key resource representing your life in Foxhole. Respawning recklessly can deplete your team’s stockpile, leaving your squad vulnerable. To conserve shirts, avoid unnecessary deaths and only respawn when it’s tactically beneficial. Coordinate with medics to revive you on the battlefield, which saves shirts and keeps you in the fight longer.

4. Whenever possible, wait for a medic instead of instantly respawning. Medics can revive you on the spot, allowing you to rejoin the battle without consuming a shirt. This not only preserves resources but also maintains your squad’s momentum on the frontlines. If you’re down, communicate with nearby medics to ensure a quick revival.

5. As the battle progresses, be ready to relocate spawnpoints or switch to a different one. If your current spawnpoint becomes compromised, don’t hesitate to set a new one in a safer location. Adaptation is key to maintaining an effective presence on the battlefield.
