Luna, Assassin of the Future, phases into Rivals of Aether!

After learning the power of his primordial ancestors, and saving the world from Autheroug's fleshy grasp with his friends, Luna went on his own way to bask in the glory of saving the world. On his travels, Luna picked up the power to control nebulous clouds. However, has grown complacent and quite lazy in this time of peace and has forgotten his unrestricted shape-shifting power. He needs to hone his fighting skills once more for the rivals that look to take him down in Rivals of Aether!

This character is heavily based on Greninja, and hopes to play very similarly, with some overhauls to a move or two to mix things up, and really push the offense!


With up special and side special, Luna will produce nebulous clouds with remain on the screen. Passively, they do nothing, but they are ready to ignite by hitting them with any moves imbued with nebulous energy (fstrong, dstrong, upstrong, and nair), or using down special to ignite all the clouds on screen at once! The opponent gets popped up into the air when hit by this cloud explosion ready to get hit by a follow up attack. These clouds can be hit out of the way by any player.


Luna charges compressed black hole energy into tiny projectiles to throw at his opponents. There are 4 different levels depending on how long you charge the move, and can be stored by pressing shield, just like Greninja. Unlike Greninja, there is a fourth level to special, which can be only accessed when getting to level 3 and absorbing nearby nebulous clouds. Once empowered, the black hole does more damage and knock back to get you a bigger advantage! This empowered state of nspecial cannot be stored, and the clouds you absorb will be gone, so be careful how you use it, as you will lose some of the clouds you have on stage.


Luna, just like Greninja previously, extends his shadow in front of him, before teleporting to the shadow and performing an attack. This move works exactly the same as shadow sneak from Greninja, and you can input a direction while teleporting to perform a unique attack in that direction.


Luna calls upon his power over space to ignite all the nebulous clouds on screen, popping the opponents up for a nice follow up attack.
