I did notice on some other OLD direct x 9 RACING games that this setting makes the games view look like 4 3 aspect ratio stretched -one RACING game GTR2 actually looked pretty cool. Other games I have tested ,even older games seem unaffected. AND I checked some newer dx10/11 games -they worked perfectly. I think this setting CAN effect OLD games ,and is game specific. Maybe revert to vanilla for the games you dislike the view on -if a change is noticed. I am happy to use it for present - I wanted CC2 to work fullscreen AND it does now.
