Description
The atmosphere in the original HL2 game was both interesting, and terrefying, and that is the driving force behind our choice on creating a modifacation on that enviroment alone. All maps from this modifacation have a very similar kind of feel of atmosphere and gameplay from the original Ravenholm, but with an different and expanded story, and many new locations. So, you will find yourself battleing many more Zombies, Headcrabs, and more.

Developers of this mod are from Czech republic so we apologize for any English errors. (thanks Felony!)

Recommendations
To avoid CTD(Crash To Desktop) or frame drop, please follow these instructions:
  • Use the 'x86-64' branch of Garry's Mod if you are using 64-bit OS.
  • Disable or unsubscribe from add-ons you don't use.
  • (only if the game is still broken) Factory reset Garry's Mod.
I didn't experience any frame drops or CTD while testing this map, so if you experienced any, that might be your environment's problem.

I personally recommend you to also subscribe SC Tools for better experience.
Warning
In 'ravenholm10' map, all notes are replaced by GMod Derma GUI. The original method was not working correctly, and I couldn't fix it.

In 'ravenholm15' map, all trap tutorials were cut off because they would prevent you from proceeding forever.

NPC navigation isn't quite satisfying. He will come to you if you wait enough time, but if you think he is stuck somewhere, just pull him with your Physgun.
Disclaimer
I only test map(s) with Sandbox gamemode with Singleplay environment. I do not guarantee that this add-on will work with any gamemode or Multiplay environment.

I didn't make these maps. I just ported these maps to Garry's Mod. All credits should go to original author, -Lord-.

This addon already contains voices from the original mod. The voice language is not English, though.

Since the original author didn't ship English voice with the mod, I can't do much about it. You have to read texts appear on screen if you don't understand it.

Also, the 'subtitle' texts are already configured to appear at the center – slight below of center, actually – of the screen, by the map.

If you have problem about those 'subtitles', then there is a chance of your screen resolution is too small. Try to change it to something like 1920x1080.

bit of a sidenote, i feel like im watching an anime when i play this because i gotta read the subtitles to understand the minion language, could you maybe add voices?

I love ravenholm so goddayum much, this is such a cool preserved time capsule of what made that first time playing we don't go to ravenholm special

I played this map mod before this was published. I considered publishing it long before you, but I decided not to because of an invisible wall over the fence I have to jump over via the improvised ramp, broken subtitles I have no knowledge of fixing it, and broken traps.
