The Steps
  • Step 1: To earn money required for this, use The Infinite Gold Glitch! http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=313297071
(The link above is to another guide provided by Taya if you want more details about the gold glitch)

  • Step 2: Go to your campsite's "Allied Supply Crates" and select the option "Turn in coins for Arl Eamon's Knights."

  • Step 3: Choose any sovereign payment options, the thirty sovereigns option gives the most experience points!

  • Step 4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 to earn the desired amount of experience points you wish.

May 20th, 2015: One thing I forgot to mention is that if you have Soldiers Peak quest done, you can upgrade your low tier weapons/armor by selling them to Mikhael Dryden. Once you had sold them, while a higher level then you previously were when you obtained them, you will notice when you leave and go back into Mikhael's inventory, those items you sold will be upgraded to a higher tier then they once were. Not all weapons/armors are going to experience the upgrade, so always do a quick save before selling your items if you don't want to waste your gold buying the low tier weapon/armor again.
Conclusion
There you have it, infinite experience points! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to post them! :P

Another way to earn infinite XP with the infinite gold or just hard-earned gold is to buy 99 of elf roots or death roots from the Dalish camp. The Dalish camp's store has an infinite stock of death root and elf root. These are both cheap and will barely make a dent in your gold amount. Once you have bought either one of the supplies, go to the "Allied Supply Crates" and select the option for the Dalish and hand over the supplies.

The gold glitch also works for buying backpacks so performing the glitch and buying one backpack gives 20 extra inventory slots

lol normally it does seem to be the case. I have yet to find a guide anyone has made on steam that truly does exactly this. It is even more funny to me that a person that made a guide (myself) about using a way to get infinite xp through the use of infinite gold. Despite making a guide like this, I actually seek intense challenge in the games I play. I'll purposely make the game more difficult on myself to achieve this as well if I must. I find default Dragon Age: Origins to be too easy for me, even on nightmare difficulty. Crazy huh? So I thought to myself ways to make it more challenging, hence the creation of Beyond Nightmare Difficulty Guide. Hopefully the guide will be as "popular" as this one was/is.

I never thought that I would possibly be a part of someone who helps make a guide on how to make the game even harder! lol, usually, everyone is looking for a guide to make it easier!

@Yoldunpeyt Vulhaaltuz: Your absolutely correct on that one bud. I always find myself going back to starting a new character. It is definitely a game with true replay value.

I recently created a guide called: Beyond Nightmare Difficulty Enchancement Guide. (https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1398086999) . The title speaks for itself, it covers various ways to increase the difficulty in-game. Those Dragon Age: Origins veterans like me, will defintely find it to be a good read. Plus, in the guide, I will be adding in thoughts, character builds for difficulty, order of quests for max difficulty, settings from the things mentioned in the guide, mod choices, and playstyle from anyone who comments on it with usernames into the guide as well. This will be a guide that we all can pitch in and help improve. To ensure all helpful information about improving the difficutly and promote complex strategic gameplay in the game.

Damn right, 2 years later! If you ever get bored in DAO, spend a weekend in a salty FPS... You'll be begging to come back after 5 hours... and start a new char!

@Yoldunpeyt Vulhaaltuz: Your welcome Vulhaatltuz, glad to be of assistance.... 2 years later lol! Even in that amount of time though, it is pretty hard to find out all the mods DAO (Dragon Age Origins), has to offer. The same site that hosts the two level cap increasers, nexusmods ( https://www.nexusmods.com/ ), is a good place to find most of the mods though. Feel free to ask me about anything else regarding mods or the game.

@ZDuke Thank you for pointing that out. I haven't really found all of the mods yet, so that helps a lot!

@Yoldunpeyt Vulhaaltuz: You are correct and thank you kindly for pointing that out. If that is a true concern for some, a mod can be downloaded to increase the Lvl cap to either 50 or 99.

The following links will direct you to the two examples:

Level50 by Keldorn (https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/930)
Level 99 by Philogosten (https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/3511)

The only downside is that you max out at Lvl 25. Once there, the rank meter shows Nar/25000. I think it means No Additional Rank... trying to help
