The farmer achievement is considerably time-intensive and thus encourages the most efficient grinding method possible. However, the most obvious area to farm exp—Huaxu City—does not provide the highest average exp. The area I believe to be the best in the game is Bloodseal Path.

In Bloodseal Path, there are mysterious frogs that can be found at about a 30% chance (at least if you have a full party). If Ziqiao's skill is used to initiate a battle and a mysterious frog is found, a mysterious fruit will be rewarded upon victory, which can be consumed to grant 10,000 exp to a character of the player's choosing. Although the average exp per encounter is only around 3000, the mysterious fruit drops increase that to around 6000 for one character. Since the farmer achievement only requires one character to reach lvl 99, this is the most optimal grinding method.


The most efficient place to farm in Bloodseal Path should be the area where Muyue was rescued.


There are 5 encounters in this area situated very close together, minimizing time spent between battles. After all 5 enemies are slain the game can be saved and reloaded to respawn the enemies. Then repeat until one of your characters reaches lvl 99. Using this method, I went from lvl 59 to lvl 99 in 22 hours.
