Introduction
This guide serves three purposes:

Break the game down into bite-size pieces, with which will get you every possible piece of evidence from every character, and allow you to J’accuse!!! anyone if you follow it to the end without there being an issue with Mum or Nan or anyone else.
FAQ
  • But what about before the quiz begins? I need to choose between Lottie, Aunty June, or Toby!
This decision does not matter. You won't get any evidence here and this choice doesn't affect future scenes. Consider this a trial run and pick whomever you like.

  • How do I find evidence for ____?
Not to worry. The following routes should give you what you need for that character, as well as the achievement for accusing them. Note that once you have played with someone on a specific round and unlocked all of their evidence, you do not need to revisit that character at that point.

Aunty June: round 1 Nan, round 2 Lottie (or Bradley or Toby), round 3 Nan, round 4 Nan

Lottie: round 1 Aunty June, round 2 Bradley, round 3 Aunty June, round 4 Toby

Toby: round 1 Mum, round 2 Lottie, round 3 Nan, round 4 Bradley

Bradley: round 1 Mum, round 2 Lottie, round 3 Mum, round 4 Bradley

Mum: round 1 Aunty June, round 2 Toby, round 3 Nan, round 4 Toby

Nan: round 1 Mum, round 2 Lottie, round 3 Aunty June, round 4 Bradley

(this is also the order I played the game, i.e. I didn't attempt to accuse Lottie until I had also gathered enough evidence for Aunty June)

  • I can't seem to get evidence from ____!
I understand your frustration (especially with Mum). Arguably, that is this game's one flaw: the choices that lead to new evidence don't seem to rely on deduction or even logical thinking.

However, there are general patterns. Aunty June wants to win, so make sure every quiz answer is correct. Suck up to Mum. Be direct with Bradley. Go along with whatever Lottie says. Let Toby talk about himself and stroke his ego. Talk to Nan about anything.

The exception is in round 4, where no matter who your partner is you get the most evidence by being stern and sometimes hostile with them.

The game lets you keep all the evidence you’ve learned to use in subsequent playthroughs. There is a lot of freedom in what order you want to interrogate suspects lovingly chat with your family. The only recommendation I have is talk to Lottie in round 2 your first time around; that conversation about Bradley’s poisons opens up a lot of doors later.
ROUND 1 MUM
A:
Pretend you don’t know – evidence: Toby was on edge all evening
Ask her again – evidence: Toby cornered Marcus

Fourteen – evidence: Lottie kept looking out the window (achievement: You are Carol Vorderman)

(even after looking Carol Vorderman up I still don't get this joke)
ROUND 1 NAN

ROUND 4 NAN

*You need to have the evidence about Bradley's poisons from Lottie in round 2
OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS
Aside from the ones you get when you J’accuse!!! a family member, there are some miscellaneous achievements you will pick up while you play the game. Sorry, kiddo and And away we go! are awarded as you play the game normally, and Job one. DONE! is awarded the first time you tell Uncle Marcus the poison is Thallium. I’ve made notes of others above, but as for the final three achievements, you can get these in a single playthrough.

Round 1 Nan
Going bald (achievement: Don't fear the baldness)

Round 2 Lottie
What happened at the meeting?
Tell her Lottie knew it (achievement: Cheat)

Round 3 Mum
Have a word with Toby
Join in
Compliment Mum (achievement: Brown nosing)

Got it. I was overthinking things.

And thank you, I'm glad you find my guide useful!

"(even after looking Carol Vorderman up I still don't get this joke)"

The joke doesn't have anything to do with who Carol Vorderman is; immediately before Abby answers, June derides her confidence that she has is right by saying "Yes, but you aren't exactly Carol Vorderman."

Good guide; this game needed something like this to explain the underlying gameplay principles.
