**Preferences ID List (will be needed below):**

- Working: 10005
- Thinking: 10010
- Exercising: 10015
- Eating: 10020
- Sleeping: 10025
- Paperwork: 10050
- Comfort: 10055
- Technology: 10060
- Social: 10065
- Outdoors: 10070
- Authority: 10075
- Creativity: 10080
- Hygiene: 10085
- Prestige: 10090
- Driving: 10095
- Shopping: 10100
- Caffeine: 10105
- Alcohol: 10110
- Spirituality: 10115

### Steps:

1. Enable dev mode in the game options.



2. Open dev mode by clicking the icon next to the music button (it looks like an image icon) when you load the game.



3. Select the character whose preferences you want to alter.



4. Once dev mode is open, select "show debugging tools."



5. To alter a preference, for example, change "Working" from hate to dislike:
- In the ID section, select the working ID (10005).
- In the amount column, select -1 (only 1 or -1 can be used).
- Click the change preference button.
6. Adjust the amount by using 1 or -1 until you reach your desired preference.
7. Once successfully changed, you will receive a notification that the character's preference has been updated.
