Introduction
Aloha!

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a pretty straightforward game when it comes to achievements, but that didn't stop me from wanting to create a simple guide for it, just in case anyone's curious which achievements are included in the base game, which are DLC only, if there's anything you can miss etc.

LAD:IW has 74 achievements, and 9 out of them are locked behind the Master Vacation Bundle (thank you Sega very cool). You don't have to worry about missing any of them while doing story, 'cause once again, there's Premium Adventure.

No major spoiler related to the story in the guide BUT I didn't hide the images or the names of the achievements behind the spoiler tag (I can't figure the formatting out to make them look alright rip). I'll also assume you're aware you have two protagonists, who they are, and who joins their teams. Anyways, let's get into it.

Story Achievements
There are the achievements you'll obtain as you progress through the story.
    Back in Action
    Completed Chapter 1.

    Fish Out of Water
    Completed Chapter 2.

    Time Marches On
    Completed Chapter 3.

    Down and Out
    Completed Chapter 4.

    Misgivings
    Completed Chapter 5.

    Hiding in Plain Sight
    Completed Chapter 6.

    Separate Ways
    Completed Chapter 7.

    Layered Lies
    Completed Chapter 8.

    Found and Lost
    Completed Chapter 9.

    Dying Breed
    Completed Chapter 10.

    Reunion
    Completed Chapter 11.

    Holding the Line
    Completed Chapter 12.

    Turning the Tides
    Completed Chapter 13.

The Man Who Regained His Name
    Completed the final chapter.

Substories
There's a total of 52 substories in the game. A substory can be one simple encounter that introduces a new activity, or it can have a few parts. You don't have to do them all to win the achievements below, but you still have to go through most of them.
    Touching Lives
    Completed 10 substories.

    Saving Lives
    Completed 20 substories.

    Living Your Best Life
    Completed 40 substories.
Drink Links
You can bond with characters by triggering party chats, eating together, buying them gifts etc. Once you reach a certain level, you will unlock a drink link.

Each character has 5 such events. Once you finish the 5th event you'll get the achievement.

    No Regrets
Viewed all of Adachi's Drink Links.

    Rest Assured
Viewed all of Chitose's Drink Links.

    Breaking Free
Viewed all of Joongi's Drink Links.

    Squared Away
Viewed all of Nanba's Drink Links.

    Missing Words
Viewed all of Saeko's Drink Links.

    Commanding Respect
Viewed all of Seonhee's Drink Links.

    Letting Go
Viewed all of Tomizawa's Drink Links.

    Starting Fresh
Viewed all of Zhao's Drink Links.
Gameplay
There are the achievements related to the gameplay (lvl up, jobs, personality).

    Wandering Dragon
    Reached level 10 with Kasuga.

    Resolute Dragon
    Reached level 30 with Kasuga.

    Apex Dragon
    Reached level 50 with Kasuga.

    Legendary Dragon
    Reached level 70 with Kasuga.

You should be able to get the first three achievements as you play through the game with no issues, especially if you do the dungeons accordingly. For the last achievement, however, you need to grind more. If you got the DLC and played through it you'll get it, as it gives you lots of experience.

    Side Hustle
Raised a job to rank 30.

    Mad Hustle
Raised 3 jobs to rank 30.

    Ultimate Hustle
Raised 7 jobs to rank 30.

You'll get these three achievements as you go through the story, 'cause you've got plenty of teammates with different jobs, so don't worry about grinding.

    Superhuman
Raised one of Kasuga's personality stats to max.

    Metahuman
Raised all of Kasuga's personality stats to max.

Almost everything you do unlocks personality points, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. You'll probably max out one of them just by doing random things and you won't even realize it. If not, you can take exams for points. There are also items that can help.

    Pound for Pound
    Dialed up Poundmates 30 times.

You unlock poundmates either through substories, memories or by progressing through the main story. They're pretty fun and can save your life when you're in a tough spot. Or you can forget they exist and spam them at the end for the achievement lol.

    Something from Nothing
Made 10 pieces of gear at Julie's Gearworks.

    Investing in the Future
    Completed all of Julie's investments.

Putting these two achievements here 'cause they deal with weapons and what not. For the investment, it goes up to $200.000 for the last rank, so make sure you've got money to spare. The better the gear, the more expensive it is.
Dungeons
Each character has a dungeon they can excess for experience and items.

    Ruffians Beware
    Conquered the Hawaiian Haunt.

    Dungeon Sweeper
    Conquered the Yokohama Underground.

The achievements are unlocked once you complete the last floor.
Side Content
These are achievements related to side activities. They're unlocked after completing substories, so I added those as well. Some of them happen by default as you progress through the story.

    Having Fun Yet?
    Played 10 different minigames.

    30 Mins or It's Free
    Completed all Crazy Delivery courses.

You unlock Crazy Delivery courses after Substory 3: Crazy Money. There are four courses you need to complete to get the achievement: easy, normal, hard and crazy.

    Spirit of Aloha
Befriended 50 people through Aloha Links.

You unlock the Aloha Links app after Substory 5: Welcome To Hawaii, MFer! Just say hi to people and they'll become your friends. Idk why this mechanic gives me so much serotonine, I need to go out more. Some people befriend you only if you give them stuff though.

    Alo-Happy as Can Be
Experienced 8 activities offered by Alo-Happy Tours.

You unlock activities after Substory 31: Let's Get Alo-Happy in chapter 5. Some activities are more expensive than others, so you'll most likely return when you're richer for those.

    Photo Hunter
Took 30 different photos for the Photo Rally.

You unlock the Photo Rally after Substory 32: Tropical Photo Rally. As you walk around the map, you'll see green signs that allow you to take photographs of random things. Just do that, and once you take 30 photos, the achievement will unlock. You can use the clues, too.

    License to Skill
Obtained 10 certificates from the Ounabara Vocational School.

You unlock the school after Substory 21: Playing With Fire (west of Honolulu). Exams can be expensive, but they also give you personality points.

    Sicko Stopper
    Completed all Sicko Snap courses.

You unlock the Sico Snap courses after Substory 8: Snap Those Sickos! There are three courses, an easy one, an intermediate one and a hard one.

    Don't Hate the Player
Met up with 5 people from Miss Match.

You unlock the Miss Match app after Substory 7: Miss Match (West Waikiki). Just play with the profile options, remember them, and pick the more fitting answers during chatting. If you manage to meet up with 5 people (debatable) you'll get the achievement.
Sujimons
Who's that Sujimon!? Pokemon rules are pretty basic, so the fights shouldn't give you too much trouble, as long as you get some strong sujimons from raids. I actually had way more fun with this than I expected, so I recommend trying it out even if it's not your usual type of minigame.

    Sujimon Snag 'Em
    Recruited 10 Sujimon from battle.

    Break It Up!
    Won 20 raids.

    Sujimaniac
Registered 100 Sujimon to the Sujidex.

    Sujimon Sensei
Registered 200 Sujimon to the Sujidex.

    Prize Fighter
Maxed out a Sujimon's level and friendship.

You can give Sujimons items from Suji stops to level them up or sparr. As for friendship, letting them fight for you will help you bond with them. You can also level them up at the farm on Dondoko Island, but it might take you some time to get there.

    Suji League Champion
    Completed all Sujimon-related substories.
Dondoko Island
Animal Crossing but with middle aged men vibes, what more could you ask for. I did this one in Premium Adventure because I knew I wasn't going to finish the story anytime soon if I got into stardew valley mode. In Hawaii you can find a bunch of random people that you can invite to you island or that can give you crafting ideas, so don't shy away from exploring the map. Many times, after finishing up a substory you've got the option to invite those people to your island. You'll get some characters as you progress through the main story as well!

    Basking in Glory
Transformed Dondoko Island into a 4-star resort.

This one shouldn't be a problem, as long as you level up Ichi's crafting (?) level, so he can build things that give you more points. I'm a sucker for aesthetics, so I spent a lot of time trying to make the island look good, but you can also slap a bunch of high level buildings on the map and call it a day to get those 4 stars. It really depends on you.

    Dondoko Denouement
    Completed the Dondoko Island story.

    Craftaholic
Crafted 100 different pieces of DIY furniture.

    Island Hospitality
Welcomed 100 guests to Dondoko Island.

This achievement will probably require the most amount of time because you can invite a maximum of 5 guests at a time (apparently you can invite up to 25 guests! ), and they spend three days on the island. Time flies though, and I didn't even notice when I got to 100 because I was enjoying it so much.

    Dondoko A-Go-Go!
Ran a TV ad on Dondoko Island.

You'll unlock the possibility to run a commercial as you progress through the story.
Kiryu Only
These achievements can only be obtained when playing as Kiryu, and they're self-explanatory.

    Precious Memories
Gathered 30 Memoirs of a Dragon.

    Abundant Memories
Gathered 70 Memoirs of a Dragon.

There are 90 Memoirs of a Dragon in total, so you don't actually need to collect them all to unlock the achievements, but still, why wouldn't you? Some are pretty short, Kiryu just mumbles to himself a few things, while others are longer and you get to meet some people from his past.

    Renewed Purpose
    Completed all Life Links.

There are 8 Life Links in total. Date will reach out to you every time you can complete a life link; some are locked behind story progress, others behind better stats.

    Funk Goes On
Pushed Kiryu's Soul, Tech, or Body to the max.

As the description says, you only need to push one to the max for the achievement to pop up, and you can do that by completing hero tasks, bonding with people, collecting memories etc.
Misc
    Not a Total Waste
Obtained an item from a toilet bowl.

Check out the toilet bowl on the first floor of Revolve.

    Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Photographed a rainbow in the skies of Hawaii.

I'm not sure if there's a way to trigger rain. The way I got it: I was hanging around Little Japan, it started raining so I took a taxi to the beach where it was sunny. There it started raining too after a few minutes, but it might have just been luck. After that I looked at the water and there was a rainbow, so I snapped a picture. (a selfie too, just to show off).

My best advice is just hanging around the beach after you unlock the recycling thing near Aloha Cafe, so you can actually get rewarded for gathering the materials you find (you can obtain shark fins and squid tentacles which are rare and very useful when crafting weapons!). You can just swim around and when it starts raining just rush back. It's pretty relaxing.

If anyone has a better alternative I'll write it down, but until now it's pretty RNG. Don't give up!

The Big Swell
If you've finished the main story and bought the DLC, you can get started on the Big Swell, which is a dungeon where you get to fight and bond with your friends. Each time you finish a level of the dungeon you'll unlock a new scene and an achievement.

    Building Bonds and Making Gains
Celebrated your victory over sector one of the Big Swell.

    Titillating Teamwork
Celebrated your victory over sector two of the Big Swell.

    Kei is for Kinship
Celebrated your victory over sector three of the Big Swell.

    Unboxed Brotherhood
Celebrated your victory over sector four of the Big Swell.

    We Did It?
Celebrated your victory over the fifth and final sector of the Big Swell.
Post-Game
    The Hero Returns
Took up the Hero's mantle in New Game+.

Simply start a New Game+ and progress until Ichi unlocks the hero job.

    Endless Vacation
    Completed New Game+.

This achievement will unlock once completing a NewGame+, no matter the difficulty.

    We're Probably the Best!
Completed New Game+ on Hard difficulty.

    We're Definitely the Best!
Completed New Game+ on Legend difficulty.

I recommend doing a legend playthrough if you want to save time, 'cause you get much more experience when defeating enemies. Then, you can switch difficulty before the last fight, and can get the other achievement as well.

I am the worst person to talk about strategy in turn based games, but you've made it so far!

You're going to want to be smarter than I was and actually prepare if you want to do a legend playthrough right away (my Ichi was lvl 70 so I let him chug 5 level boosters so he can be 75, the recommended level, without taking into consideration the rest of the team being 5 levels behind lol). It's not impossible to win like that, it's just more frustrating. Make sure you finish the Dondoko storyline so you can unlock an ability that will make Ichiban's life much easier.

Level up your team, get good weapons (get them NOW otherwise you're gonna waste time in legend mode where the fights are much more difficult. Some weapons that can be upgraded to powerful ones are obtainable by defeating certain crowned enemies so do that). You should also quickly go through the bonds, so the teammates can be even more helpful. The first time they join your team their weapons will be the basic ones, make sure to change them as soon as you can. Otherwise they'll be kind of useless.

All your poundmates will be there, so you don't have to worry about that.

Everything went smoothly for me, a few game over screens here and there when I overestimated my guarding skills. That changed when I reached chapter 12 and actually had to grind for a few extra levels because my teammates kept dying a few rounds in. And then it happened again during the second part of the last chapter. I recommend being level 90 for that, 'cause it really makes a difference. Just grind some levels in the dungeon and you should be fine.
Thank you
    Infinite Wealth
    Obtained all achievements.

You don't actually have to obtain all achievements in the game, I got it after completing the Big Swell and my Ichi reached level 70. That's why my guess is the achievements related to replaying the game don't count towards this one. Thank you for making it this far :)

I didn't realize I could invite 25 people at the same time, good to know! Thanks for the addition Kannazuki, I'll add that info in the guide :UDG_Heart:

Great Guide! For Island Hospitality I think you need 100 different guests, bc I still dont have it but get the reward (ingame) for 100 people 100% happiness. And you dont have just 5 at a time, with 5 VIP houses you can have 25 people at the same time on the island. Have fun!:hams:
