Carpenter MkII | 12-Slot Coaxial Gunship

As a natural upgrade to the mark-one Carpenter model (found within Trinium space), the second-iteration Carpenter is a purpose-built coaxial gunship. It was built using the original Carpenter; the design was scaled to be larger, and additional structure was added to the hull. The vehicle is purposefully designed to engage in combat operations using coaxial weapons. As a result, Carpenter MkII is quite maneuverable, and it possesses ten total coaxial mounting points.

The vessel has received high praise among some buyers, who are particularly attracted to Carpenter MkII's heavy emphasis on coaxial combat. The vehicle's modular design, exemplified by its six ventral nacelles, allows the user to customize the ship with ease. However, these design features have attracted criticism, too. Critics argue that the vehicle's heavy use of coaxial weapons is risky, or may be awkward in some combat operations. The modular design, too, does trade optimality (technical block volume) for customizability. Regardless of opinion, the ship has performed well within combat operations in the Ogonite belt, and many pilots adore this coaxial gunship for its unique fighting style.
