Prehistory
I played the game, reached the level with a portal to Earth. Actually, I jumped and... the game crashed. “It’s no problem,” I thought, I launched it again, but a problem awaited me - after loading, Death is at the beginning of the “Earth” location, the cutscene does not play and the location is completely empty, the fast teleport does not work and NOTHING can be done. I don't want to go through it again, 13 hours of play (with collecting all the items for achievements) spend to nothing.
I started rummaging around in the community, but I couldn’t find anything relevant specifically to my question. The obvious solution is to find a save close to or after this level. Ok, Google to the rescue, I dig further, basically all the saves for the New Game+ with “super-mega damage and equipment” and here, a link to reddit. And there, as they say, “I was looking for copper, but found gold.” User LananisReddit posted save files after each story quest in the game.
Description of saves
Original text from ReadMe:

All save files are for the last (4th) slot in save file selection.

To use a save:
  1. Download the desired save and rename it to "dssave3.dsav".
  2. Copy to the following directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[your user ID]\388410\remote
    Note: This is the default directory on Windows 10 64-bit. If you installed Steam elsewhere, this path might be different.
  3. ALSO copy to the following directory: C:\Users\[your user name]\Documents\My Games\Darksiders2\[your user ID]
    Note that you need to copy the savegame into BOTH locations or else the downloaded save may not work correctly if you already had save data in slot 4.
    If the save does not show up in the save game selection in-game, despite being in both required folders, please do the following:
  4. Make a fresh save in another slot. Close the game.
  5. Open the files for both the fresh save and the downloaded save with Notepad++ (i.e. right-click the files > "Open with" > Notepad++)
  6. In Notepad++, select "Plugins" > "HEX Editor" > "View in HEX"
  7. Copy everything between cell "20 F" to "30 4" from the new save file to the downloaded save files.
  8. Save your changes, close the files, and open the game again.
Main Playthrough Notes (Saves 1-16)
  • All saves are on "Normal" difficulty, no Nightmare mode.
  • For the main playthrough, a Harbinger build with focus on the Unstoppable skill tree and crit damage/chance was used.
  • Each save also includes the highest piece of Arcane Crit Damage/Chance gear found during playthrough up to that point.
  • Savegames past level 17 also include a well-built possessed scythe for each Harbinger and Necromancer, as well as a stat boosting possessed secondary for each.
  • Each save includes all legendary armors, talismans and scythes.
  • Legendary secondaries are NOT all included, as there are more items than inventory slots.
  • The playthrough follows a 100% progression path, including all collectibles. However, not all collectibles/side quests in optional areas are covered as soon as possible.
  • Stones found for the Sticks & Stones side quest are NOT yet handed in on any save in order to allow the player to choose their own stat upgrades.
NG+ Notes (Saves 17-20)
  • All saves are on "Deathinitive" difficulty.
  • Side missions and open world collectibles are largely ignored for saves 17-19.
  • The Crucible is fully available on each NG+ save and fully completed on saves 20A and 20B.
  • Save games are split into Harbinger and Necromancer paths, as each required spending different stones with Blackroot:
    -Harbinger saves (17A-20A): Blackroot stones were spent primarily on Crit Chance pre NG+ and on Crit Damage in NG+.
    -Necromancer saves (17A-20A): Blackroot stones were spent primarily on Arcane Crit Damage, then Arcane Crit Chance in both playthroughs.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 18B: If you proceed directly from this save along the main path, your game will crash when meeting the Archon. To prevent this, levle up before meeting him, e.g. by completing the Lost Soul side quest.

I have tried many times the above instructions, but still the savegame is not visible. Thanks for the explanation
